So we've had the last couple of days afloat, yesterday we had great number of BullHuss, Pollack, Mackeral, Whittings and Wrasse, unfortunately the only Tope action was a 5 minite battle for the hook to pull

Today with a much worse forecast a local 4hr trip was on the agenda, again landed were Huss, Dogs, Whittings, Gurnards and Dabs all at anchor.

Crap weather is back upon us for tomorrow and for our scheduled trip down to Penzance to fish with chippy on Bite Adventures this weekend so once again

If you would like to get afloat during September please get in touch, We have very limited spaces left.

Plenty of dates left for this winters Cod fishing from Liverpool

Nice little trip down the coast, Started off on the hunt for fresh mackerel which did take longer than i expected but with half a bucket after an hour we called it quits and went off to anchor...

Fishing greatly improved with a steady flow of Huss, Rays, Gurnards, Dabs and Dogs from the sand, With slack water approaching a quick move 4 miles back down the coast to a patch of broken ground. Baits hit the bottom and fish were soon biting, First up a Thorny 11lb followed by 60+ Bull Huss to14lb, Strap Congers to 10lb, Tope to 45lb 1oz, Dogs, Whitting and Poorcod.

Overall a brilliant day concentrating on anchor work

Nice day afloat with a good mixed bag of fish, Huss, Congers, Smooth-hound, Thornback Rays, Dogs, Whitting, Pouting, Pollack, Ballan Wrasse, Cuckoo Wrasse and Mackeral.

2 Tope lost unfortunately, 1 to a line snap and second to poorly hooked.

Nice to mix things up with drifting over sand, Something boats don't seem to do to often this side of the coast!

Back to being weathered off again tomorrow

Very limited spaces left for the Summer season before we head down to Liverpool ready for the Winter Cod fishing, please get in touch to book your place.

Well its safe to say this past week the fishing has been nothing but fantastic!!

The wrecks between 25 miles and 40 miles have consistently produced large hauls of Pollack to 14lb 12oz with other fish making up the species count such as Codlin to 5lb, Ling to 11lb 8oz, Coalies to 4lb, Tope to 40lb, Spurdogs to 16lb, Mackeral, Whitting, Pouting, Huss and Dogs.

We've only spent 2 days locally this week which brought some great Wrasse action but little showing on the Pollack side.
Short run to Holyhead Deeps brought a number of Tope and Spurdogs for Tony and Dave to 25lb during a lovely thunder storm before the sun came back out!

So there we have it, 19 days out of 20 so far this month, Sailed today but having to cancel tomorrows trips sucks!

Very limited space left for August if you'd like to get out...

DID YOU KNOW WE'LL BE WORKING FROM LIVERPOOL THIS WINTER UPTIDING FOR COD, WHITTING AND DABS?
Bookings are already been taken, Don't miss out!!

Today we headed back out to the channel this time more to the NW with a clear view of the famous TT mountain course on the Isle Of Man.

The fishing was slow to start as we awaited the tide to pick up from a late slack water however with the tide came the fish.......
Over the next 4 hours we battered the Pollack with most fish being 9/10lb including many 10-12lb largest going 13lb 10oz.

Once the tide eased we decided to set the anchor down into the wreck only for a slight northwesterly breeze to push us off the side, We did hook up on an Eel that put up one hell of a fight only to come off 50ft under the boat! However moments later we did manage a Tope of 46lb 3oz, Spurdogs to 8lb, Huss to 12lb and Doggies.....

Top Lure - Fladen 6" shimmer eel.

All in all a superb day with lots of fish, A brillant crew who are booking another days wrecking in August, They must eat some serious fish after the amount of fillets they took
