    Should be a few more cod showing now the temperature is dropping, also thornbacks on the Goodwin's with the big females nudging well over 15lb, plenty of other species to keep the rods moving with channel whiting plump dabs smoothhounds pouting whiting and strap conger on the wrecks, most trips at mo producing 40-50 fish a rod, so there's some bumper months ahead, remember all equipment baits supplied and hot pies for lunch,

    We decided to take a days fishing on the Skerry-belle Phil(me) Terry Simon and Lyndon
    Best decision ever
    The most amazing fishing trip ever with skipper Roger and deck hands Paul and Ian such knowledgeable guides and great company we were looked after all day and experienced a once in a lifetime days fishing . While Ian and Paul set up the rods Roger navigated his boat straight to the fish and got us in amongst Bass immediately , first fish safely on the boat within 2minutes a 6 lbs Bass fantastic but only the start I caught a personal best a massive 10 lbs specimen Bass Terry another PB an 8lbs plus Simon and Lyndon both caught their PB’s Bass over 6 lbs . Roger keeping us in fish all day by reading the signs and moving to new locations with everyone catching constantly.
    Thank you so much Roger Paul and Ian for working so hard and giving us a day we will all never forget .

    We now turn our attention to the large bass fishing cod thornback ray's large channel whiting over the next few months, been a great summer season onboard Skerry with good amounts of bass being caught by our anglers, remember all our trips Inc quality bait's equipment tuition (Paul deckhand) tea coffee and hot pie's for lunch,

    Just to let you all know, we are still operating during the pandemic, with a maximum of 5 anglers onboard at £60 per person. (This includes all rods reels tackle and quality baits Inc lugworm.) The vessel runs with full covid safety equipment and everything is deep cleaned after every trip. Travelling to and from the vessel is quick and easy, and parking is nxt to vessel.
    Fishing into April/may is normally excellent and is when our big bass are landed like our record catch at (19lb) caught onboard this vessel,and with over 35yrs experience of fishing out of Ramsgate we can definitely give you that edge to catch,
