Today started well with a forcast keeping us inside due to strong winds, how right they were. Full marks to the lads wasnt a easy day! Least the rain held off till late afternoon. We struggled to start fish wise but on the tide easing the whiting came on the bite. Nice size fish came aboard along with four cod during the day, all around the three pound mark. Big thank you to Valdick for organizing the lads,Raplek,Mivek,Greg,Valder,Radlek,Volmil, and Dave, apoligies for any spelling mistakes. Photo of the lads with their fish, hope you enjoyed it men, looking foward to sseing you in January.
    All the best. Jon.

Fitted new lights to the High Flyer for our night time fishing trips, couldnt resist using up weekends lug, best excuse i could come up with. Nipped out at 5.30pm straight out the front ,back in by 7.30 all washed down. Had 2 cod as pictured,( excuse the messy back garden and hat),, couple of flatties and handfull of whiting. Rather annoying as we had 1 cod all day previous. Personally believe fish bite better inshore at night proved it many times, looking forward to our night time trips, hope you can join us on them. Please note if we dont have your email on our database our night trips are generally booked up before they appear on here. Hope you can join us. Jon. (High Flyer)

Today started with big plans to a 12 mile bank taking in a huge wreck i know of, soon to be scuppered by a strengthening NW making conditions reasonably lumpy! We got on the 5 mile mark decided to try a bank that has proved popular in the past, instantly plagued with small whiting and flatties! Conditions worsened making fishing difficult so we headed for the calm inshore Roads with everyone else! was worth a try ended up with Daves cod pictured, lost a very good cod myself at the last minute, lots of whiting and a few cracking dabs. Thanks to Chalky,Marty,Dave,Paul,Richard and James for coming out, will try our plan next time if we ever get a break with the british weather! Jon.

Today started with the after affects of strong northerly, bit lumpy ,didnt help when the wind picked up! The lads done well being bashed about a bit,to their credit good spirits all round. The whiting made a show for us from the start, along with a few flatties, went to the only place fishable today up the Roads ,lowestoft end. Had a move as slack approached due to it becoming unfishable , tucked out the way back towards Yarmouth in a little hole i know, where we caught plenty more whiting and some cracking flatties size wise for this time of year. No cod again, 14 rods out and all the baits, still need it to be colder. Big thanks to Richard for organizing and all the Network Rail lads,Chris,Shaun,Andy,Mick,Andy,Mark,Stewart, and first time on High Flyer Tony, hope to see you guys soon, thanks for sticking the day out. All the best. Jon.

Small break in the weather, the forcasters not sure due to the various lows hanging around, decided to go as we always best off trying our luck. Kept inshore due to the tide ebbing our best chances to join the others down in the Roads. Not my favourite place but it does produce when were still waiting for tthe cod to appear in numbers. Started straight away again with those whiting , few flatties, wind ever increasing unfortunately turning SE,our worst wind. Made the best of the day ,moved up further south for the last of the slack, reports of a few cod over the vhf,not for us,just loads of the usual stuff. Thanks to James for organizing everyone, along with Ben,Steph,Alex,Mike,Andy,Lee,David,Simon and Darren, first timers on the Flyer, was much appreciated men, think we made the best of a bad day,was last boat home before the weather turned, full marks to you all. Hope to see you all for a good cod bashing when there in properly! All the best. Jon.

Todays charter headed north due to a break in the weather thank god. Our first chosen mark resulted in a severe change in depth from last time unbelievable really, so headed to close by wreck that has proved good for me in the past. results were non stop whiting and flatties most of the day, tried another mark in Hemsby hole but no cod played ball. Plenty of fish just the wrong ones! Thanks to Shaun,Richard,Dave,Steve,James and Tasha, and Geoff, lovely day with superb weather ,appreciate you all coming out. Last stop of the day in the Roads proved difficult with too much weed, few whiting as usual, still need a cold snap to bring those cod in. Time will tell. Thanks again to you all. Jon

The lads from Greene King Brewery came out with us today, some been before, nice bunch of lads and all sober! Tide dictated where we went as usual, ended up North Roads on the ebb, First cod went to Dave as usual, next cod to birthday boy Russel and our last cod to Matt. The rest unfortunately had to put up with whiting, nice size ones for time of year. on slack water we up anchor and tried the Bank, bit lumpy , no flatties there couldnt understand it, just whiting again!. On the start of the flood headed inshore off a little mark inside ended up with few flatties, and more whiting ,no more cod on the flood. Big thanks to Tom for all his effort in organizing, much appreciated, Dan,Nick,Matt,Adam,Adi,Dan,Dean, and Russel and Dave for crewing. Thanks for the day men, hope you didnt get into trouble for being home late! Blame me. Hope to see you guys night fishing soon. All the best. Jon.

Weather reports all over the place for today, strng wind forcasts doubtfull on getting out. Cancelled some long distance anglers booked in as not fair to them, with our local anglers prepared to come have a go. Wasnt too bad at first with a strong SW wind but turned to a lovely even stronger NE our worst. wasnt long before we thought we were on the seafronts roller coaster, caught a couple of cod, about 30 odd whiting, had a quick move inside to hide again and run inside back home before the tide turned! My thanks to first timers on the High Flyer, Graham for organizing, Shaun , Peter and Rich, and regular Steve, sorry about the wind, heavy downpours and roller coaster ride, least we got out had a go and got a few fish! All the best men, hope to see you again soon. Jon.
