    Hi all
    Here at Hartlepool things are picking up
    The mackerel have now started to show and plenty of coddling for the table nothing big fist nice 2 to 4lbers
    Both shads and baited hokkis and daylights working
    Also the odd ling making an appearance

    Some nice cod in the 2 to 3 lb bracket coming on board with the odd 4 to 5lber for the lucky ones

    Aboard Trio lll today we had an average day taking about 60 keepable cod and ling that's without the numerous mackerel
    But lady luck did smile for one angler taking this 17lb cod what a beauty well done mark

    Fishing at Hartlepool on Trio lll has started to pick up here is a sample of the fish we are getting
    Fish are taking shads and squid baits
    So don't be shy jump aboard to catch your first cod of the season

    Fishing at Hartlepool on the alicat continues to be steady but not frantic
    Some bigger fish moving in now and for the angler who trys he can reap the rewards
    Well done ray with the biggest cod of the season to date anow impressive 20lb cod
    Very fishalisious

    Here at Hartlepool fishing continues to be up and down with the constant northerly winds keeping a swell in the water
    But for those anglers who persevere they do get rewarded
    Here is one of our regulars who caught this prime 12lb cod this weekend

    Hi all,
    Things here at Hartlepool are starting to warm up we had a regular group out today
    They had a great day out with a regular stream of cod coming aboard mainly in the 3 to 4lb bracket with the occasional 6 to 8lber coming aboard
    There were plenty returned that were just size squid and prawn baits worked best but shads and pirks took there fair share
