hi out on wrecks again some bottom fishing on slack huss whiting mackerel. wrecks not as prolific as last few trips but nevertheless some decent Pollack caught brian had two one 8 lbs and one 8lbs 2 onces with quite a few others. some anglers did ok but a few others not so many. the reasoning for this is beyond me as most using rhubarb and custard lures but everyone had a good day. remember 10 hours offshore wrecking with me £350 UNbeatable price on a large boat for good offshore fishing. good fishing Roy.

Hi out with same party from sheffield for both days over weekend lots of whiting and bullhuss Sunday was better fishing with lots of double figure Huss and a twelve pound ten once thorn back ray the best so far this year. Plankton bloom bit of a problem inshore but 15 miles out no trace of it water gin clear. Let's hope these northerly winds go shortly so i can get to the cod on the wrecks off Amlwch which appear in strength in June. Good fishing Roy

hi at last could get to where the decent fish are with no big shoals of spurdogs about better fishing although fish in the 4 to 7lbs range but quite a few of them. all the anglers had good sport with plenty of fish to take home. the fish were about half coalfish and Pollack ( no sign off cod yet but 2 weeks should do it ). NOTE do not freeze coalfish it does not suit it flesh goes mushey and grey. very good fresh or smoked. the amount of coalfish caught on sunday means anglers will be eating it for breakfast dinner and tea for a good week. plenty of midweek bookings left on good tides ring for a very reasonable priced trip for this type of fishing ( fishing for dogfish not allowed). good fishing ROY

Hi got offshore a bit 10 miles makes a change. So many spurdogs they became a nuisance anglers fed up of catching them all around 6 to 14lbs . whiting being bit in half all the time. There appears to be vast shoals of these in the area at the moment. Consequently affecting the wreck fishing round fish will vacate the area when these are around in this strength. Inshore pollack on reefs not monsters but a far few keepers for those who want to eat them. I prefer turbot and will be doing these trips this year on banks west of isle of man to target them if weather allows let's hope for a calmer summer to get to the better fishing offshore. Cheers Roy. NOTE OUR CHARTER RATES FOR OFFSHORE FISHING VERY REALISTIC

Hi fishing bit up and down at the moment many trips cancelled due to north east winds are continuing into next week fishing not good with east in the wind? Let's hope an improvement in weather will enable us to offshore a bit to the wrecks. Remember good cod fishing off Amlwch June/July ifi can get to marks. Regards roy
