In addition to the fishing trips, We also work with Television companies, local authorities, commercial work and also Diving.
We also have Rod and tackle hire available which is to a high standard, we match fish ourselves and like to show the techniques we use to target different species
All tuition will be given for novice and inexperienced angler, children under sixteen will have free Rod and tackle hire.
Sight seeing trips available for photography clubs and wild life clubs. NO ALCOHOL ON THIS BOAT

About the Skipper:

I have 30 years experience on boats, my last 15-20 years has been match fishing around the UK and Ireland on small boats. I took over ownership of this boat in 2013, this boat has been working out of Conwy for the last 20 - 25 years. Together with my son Lewis, who has been fishing with me since the age of 4, we hope to offer more than the average fishing trip, we have vast knowledge of the best marks in the area through fishing small boat matches over the years, we will show you techniques required to target different species, which will benefit your days trip and make it enjoyable.

    I couldn't recommend Richie and Four Reasons enough. My son and I went on a 6hr trip. We caught dog fish, bull huss, tope and mackerel. There were 8 passengers in total all ranging from inexperienced to very competent and Richie was attentive, helpful and none patronising to all. He shared his knowledge on fishing, the local environment and some, not at all bad, 'Christmas cracker' jokes along with tea, biscuits and sausage rolls. My son improved his skills and knowledge during that 6 hrs learning how to unhook dogfish, from Richie, and he became quite a dab hand at it. The boat was well equipt and comfortable (has toilet) and there is plenty of parking in the jetty from which it departs or a beautiful walk back into Conwy for the train or busses. It is a truly stunning location from which the boat leaves (beautiful Conwy) and from where we fished between Puffin Island and Great Orme's Head. Gorgeous scenery. Highly recommended.

    Out with Richie today and can only thank him for the determination he had to get us on the fish. If a mark wasn't working we moved. If the tactics weren't working we tried something else. So ok, we didn't get any tope which was the ambition but we did catch 7 species in all. Thanks for all your efforts, I'll book on again as soon as I can and also sort a dads n lads evening. Cheers

    The five of us set off on the Four Reasons with Skipper Richie and his son Lewis on Sun 03/04/16. From the outset Richie provided us with a good detail about what he would hope to provide for us on our 6hr trip. Richie is a knowledgable and very approachable and when not managing the boat had time to chat and provide good advice about what baits and rigs to use. We fished several marks that day and the general catch was small whiting,dabs and doggies Fishing is what it is! Someitimes the catches arent big but hey! none of us drew a blank. Richie catered for all skill levels including me a boat novice and I was very impressed. Likewise his son Lewis was equally knowlegable and extremely helpful. Overall we had a great day and along with the welcome teas, coffees and a sausage butty we all had a great day out. Highly recommended from five guys from Winsford Cheshire!!!!

    Hi all, We came out of the water in November for winter MAINTENANCE!!, we were due to be lifted back in April 12th but due to travel restrictions, people from outside the area were unable to work on their boats, so we have now been given a date to be lifted back in 12th May, so we will look at starting trips from Sat 15th May, due to social distance we will only have 4 people per trip until restrictions ease, hope you understand that this will increase the individual price, thanks Richie

    Well fantastic weekend plenty of fish on board nice to see the Tope making a visit, plenty of mackerel today too, species caught Bull Huss, Codling, Dog fish, pouting, pollack, whiting, mackerel, Tope, Dab, so starting to pick up nicely.
