What a day and what a crew, from arrival and the warm welcome meeting to the completion of the day, brilliant. Both Ian and Beck's made the day with friendly banter through out the day. The kettle was instantly on so no chance of dehydration, always the sign of a good skipper. If just having a go at boat fishing or a seasoned angler this is a boat and crew that will make your day even if the fish haven't. Thanks will be back again very soon.

Skippers Reponse: Thanks for the kind words Kevin, look forward to seeing you again soon. Ian

having fished with Ian on several occasions I reckon he is probaly one of the best skippers I have ever been afloat with. I have not known many try as hard as Ian to get you on the fish and he will constantly search for better quality or quantity if it is not happening. I have been on several boats in the past where the skipper will drop anchor and leave you too it, not Ian, he is constantly working to help you put fish on the deck. His crew member/s are always on hand for help and advice and add the that the endless tea and coffee and it really does not get much better. I have caught 4 personal bests with Ian and had endless specimens to be proud of. I can't recommend him highly enough and can only say try it for yourself, I am adamant you won't be disappointed.

Skippers Reponse: Hi Derek, thanks for the kind words its always a pleasure to have you on board mate, and we always look forward to all the one liners which are normally at the skippers expence !. Lol

What a cracking day out !!! After a lumpy trip out to the mark only to find that the spot had been taken, Ian put to the crew that there was a small mark not a million miles away that had the potential to hold fish based on his knowledge of the area. All agreed, he put the boat on the mark and put the "pick" in. Things didn't start well but when the kettle went on and the first fish came to the boat, moral picked up .. Banter reared it's head and the day just got better and better. First came the "dogs" then a Spotted ray then Whiting, Cod, a nice fat Bass and to finish the day .. Another Cod. Not bad from a skipper who had to make an education decision on the run. Ian has a wealth of knowledge and knows exactly how to get the crew involved making them part of the whole rather than just a group of paying crew. It has to be said that this Skipper did his research, advised the crew of his plans for the day but overall, involved the crew in all aspects of any decision making and forged a boat load of Anglers ( one of whom didn't know the best part of the crew) into friends who I personally would fish again with at the drop of a hat ! I can't recommend this boat or the Skipper Ian highly enough. Oh, and the coffee mugs are hot, deep and plentiful too. Thanks for a Great day out!

Skippers Reponse: Thanks Rob, ya all had me sweating to start but we found a few in the end !!.Glad you had a great day and always a pleasure to have you onboard hope to see you again soon.
    Ian
