Another awesome daywith the Coker boats yesterday. Mick gave us a masterclass turbot fishing !

Fished with Matt yesterday starting off east of Dover Harbour before moving offshore to the Varn. Caught lots of fish includinmg plenty of Dogfish, Pouting and Whiting. As always it was a good day made by an excellent skipper who put us on the fish.

Had a good days boat fishing with Mathew Coker on the Portia today. Fished in Shore off Folkestone as it was to rough to get out to the Varn. Bait was Black Lug , Squid, Herring and Cuttle. Had fish all day including channel Whiting around 1.5 - 2lb each along with Pouting and Dogfish. Overall a good day made by the excellent skipper.

cracking days fishing was with matt that day,very strong tide and very rough,but the guys still enjoyed it,matt worked very hard to get us on the fish,cant wait till my next trip the 28th feb.i must say this is the best boat ive been on and would not use anyone else. they both work really hard

Great day out with Mick on the Portia. on the Varne bank. 6 of us went home with plenty of bass, mackerel and a gurnard or 2. Mick worked hard to get us on the fish and always had words of encouragement and great advice. Always take Skippers advice and you will catch. trust me!

First trip with Matthew and Portia. There were strong tides and tricky winds. Matt skippered the boat with skill and knowledge and managed to put us on fish all day. Everyone on board caught fish, including a party of first timers, pollack, mackerel and about 20 codling. Without doubt the Portia is the best charter boat that I have fished on in nearly 50 years of sea fishing. The Portia is comfortable, fast and a superbly equipped boat and I really could not find fault with it and Matthew Coker is a friendly and knowledgeable skipper.
