Thank you Colin for such a great trip!! It was my first ever fishing trip and I caught a 7lb 4oz brill so was extremely chuffed...when I realised how good it was! Though I must thank Colin for helping me out with all the equipment and the bait! We all had such a great day...and now have peeling noses to prove it!! Will see you again on Flamer III soon hopefully. Ciara x

Fished colins 5 day flamer festival. Thanks to some good weather we were able to do a wide range of fishing from wrecking for congers and ling to drifting the shambles bank for flat fish. Had a brilliant week caught 17 different species came 2nd overall and won the pairs trophy. Would thoroughly recommend taking a trip aboard Flamer III.

With some novices and a mix of experience in sea fishing, Colin steered us to landing 7 Turbot and some creditable bream in difficult conditions. Many thanks.

Raytastic two day trip with Colin on the Flamer3. As usual Colin managed to put us over the fish and we were having a good time. Also a good range of species were had over the two days (with two PB for me!!!). Predictably Harry bagged the biggest conger (not bad for an Octogenarian!!!!). Colin's experience, professional attitude and friendliness ensures a good trip (he also makes a decent cup of coffee) and we will be booking for next year. The Flamer3 is well equiped, professionally run, clean and tidy. A well respected and recommended skipper and boat.

Breaming good skipper, a great end to a 14 hour trip a 4lb 80z Bream one of my may PB caught on the flamer, over several years I have enjoyed countless days of quality fishing aboard the Flamer 3 with Colin, If you have never ventured on to the flamer and you want to be put on to the fish I personally recommend that you give Colin a shoot as you will not be disappointed

This years annual trip with Colin has proved to be our best yet! We booked Flamer for 3 days instead of our usual 2 and that proved to be a good decision! The wrecking was great as Colin does more than just get you on the fish, he makes the day very enjoyable! The Tonbridge Tanglers are booked in for 3 days again next year!

This would have to go down as our best overall annual trip with Colin this year! We decided to book for 3 days this year instead of 2 and this proved to be a good decision! The weather was great and the wreck fishing excellent! Colin is not only great at getting you on the fish, he also makes the day fun and enjoyable! The Tonbridge Tanglers are booked in for another 3 days next year!

This was the 5th annual trip of the Tonbridge Tanglers on Flamer III, every year just gets better and better. Flamer III is a fantastic boat, spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped in addition to being expertly skippered by Colin Penny who also doubles as a great tea boy. Colin never fails to accommodate, assist and impart his wealth of knowledge which always leads to us catching cracking fish. This year was exceptional for both fish and weather, we couldn't have wanted for better. Great Cod, Pollack, Ling, Turbot and Conger. Thank you so much Colin for making yet another trip a phenomenal success and I look forward to next years visit. Anyone thinking of taking a trip, give Colin a go....you will not be disappointed.

Our team from Devon were off to an early start from Weymouth marina at 7am in order to catch the tide in Lyme Bay. The sea, at first, was quite rough until we rounded The Bill and steamed west. After 20 miles Colin with his normal aplomb put us directly over the wreck which was not particularly productive so we moved on to a larger wreck which was very good. All seven members of the party had large cod and pollack with Fred also taking a 2lb pouting. Another exceptional day and a well satisfied team of anglers.

myself and friends enjoyed our yearly trip with Colin down to Dartmouth. We fished many wrecks on the way there catching lots of pollock, Cod and Ling.We fished the skerries and other marks and had some fantastic sport. The social side of the trip was brilliant as always and with a skipper as good as Colin you know that the fishing will be great.Yet again he put us on the fish all week and we returned home very satisfied and deposits paid up for next year. On behalf of all the lads, we would like to say "well done Colin and many thanks", see again soon!
