Great day's fishing. Really enjoyed it. Wasn't sure at first as I've not fished much before but Roger was a great tutor and we all had a great day out. Will definitely be booking him again

great day fishing on bay side skipper Roger and his deck hand John were absolutely brilliant lots of doggys caught bass whiting and a codling and even two starfish. at the end if the day we booked 2 more trips up. thanks for great day guys

just had two weeks hols, and had two trips on bayside. have only fished on a boat twice before and wanted to know more. i gave roger a call and arranged two trips . first trip i could not of asked for more, the level of tuition was first class , i learnt so much in that first trip, and we caught plenty of fish, roger even explained how to uptide( i didnt even know what that was) and let me use his rod to have a go. i cant thank roger enough for the time he took to make the first trip so enjoyable. the second trip was even better i went on board with confidence and had the best day ever, managed to catch personal best bass and my first ever cod . thanks roger looking forward to my next trip, i did buy the uptide rod that you suggested. cant wait,

Disapointed with the Days Fishing. Went with corporate management team. Brought a short distance off shore and only caught Dog Fish which is not good fishing. Felt like we were only taken there as we were not experienced fishers and it was easy money.

Skippers Reponse: I'm sorry you felt that way glen,but the lead party who booked the trip did make a point of asking for an inshore fishing trip,you had 2expeirenced crew members and all caught fish,

Great days fishing with really helpful advice and assistance for a boat full of blokes with no experience from both Roger and Dave. Really looked after us, especially Grandad Reg, who "had the best day ever". Thanks again

Excellent trip best days fishing ever on board Bayside

This was our 8th trip out with Roger this year , and like ever he never failed to put us on the fish. We started off at 0800 and with bad weather forecast Roger was keen to get us out toone of his deep water marks. We steamed out about 6 miles and started fishing as we were against the weather , After about 10 mins the 1st od of the day was landed around the 4lb mark followed by another around the same weight. We had anoth 2 nie size cod before we lost to the weather. Now most charter boats I have been on would have steamed in to harbour in the conditions we were in , not Roger as he took us to one of his inshore marks some 6 to 8 hundred yard off the beach. As soon as we were in position lines were out and a 6lb and another 4lb landed. We went on to have 7 decent sized cod from the inshore mark. We had our full session and a very productive day. Roger has been great for me and my team of guys with his boat and shore advise on fishing. I am fishing a new shore spot this weekend and he even rang me to give me some top marks to try. We will continue to use the Bayside as we don't just get a days boat fishing you get a good day with plenty of banter and if you need to know anything to do with fishing you have a man with 25 years worth of knowledge under his belt. Another great day out, well looked after this man knows his stuff, 5th time on this boat plenty of fish and he has a great sense of humor, will be going again shortly regards Richard.
