Me and my friends went for a fishing trip and we have a lovely time and mr John Old is a lovely was amazing we had fun on board very good with tea, coffee and biscuits

Brilliant day out with Jon on the High Flyer 2. Caught 2 Tope around 50lb and lost a third. What more can I say!!

Had my first trip for a couple of years and really enjoyed it, even if the fishing was hard, and it was not for the want of trying, Jon put us on plenty of marks. but we could not get a Tope run between us,.
There were plenty of Mackies about, and even some codling, and bass (someone caught a really nice codling but he did also catch the weavers. :-). Plenty of banter , Coffee and biccies, some nice comfortable seating,, a great boat a great skipper and a great bunch of lads,. The North wind may have won this time as the water was quite clear, but here is to the next time. Cheers Jon a great day out.

Next day we only had one lost two weather pants for this time of year. many thanks for comments nice to have anglers onboard who understand fishing rather than those quick to comment who know nothing. Excellent days fishing. Great group of anglers. We managed to miss the scattered showers and we caught good variety of fish including several bass,pouting, one smooth hound, horse mackerel and loads of mackerel ( most returned). Jon worked hard setting up the drifts, making hot drinks and sorting out tangles. Thanks to Carl for instigating the trip. Looking forward to next time.

A lovely day out for the team DXB, weather was surprisingly good, off shore breeze but really warm, fish were very co-operative with lots of smooth hounds to a decent size, Jon looked after us really well as usual, so thank you for a lovely day out. looking forward to our next trip - maybe some bass and/or decent tope too. thank you Jon, a first class skipper.

Heavy rain when we arrived at boat but that soon cleared and remained fine for the entire trip. Several spotty dogs caught early on followed by around fifteen smooth hounds to 7lbs. All returned as several appeared to be pregnant. Whiting started to show . Thorn backs were allusive although we moved twice seek them out. All in a very good day.

550 mile round trip to fish on Jon’s High Flyer 2. Found it a bit difficult to find the boat initially. Once on board, the fish started coming over the side. Mainly whiting and dogfish with 2 smooth hounds. Jon kept the brews and chocolate bars coming all day and even tried his hand at being a stand up comedian. Good job he’s a good skipper ��. Will come back for some tope fishing in the summer. Thanks for a good day out Jon and nice to meet you.

We were unable to go on our trip due to weather, but Jon let us know well in advance and did not hesitate to return our deposit, we are really disappointed we couldn't go fishing, but would not hesitate to book with Jon again, thanks for the great customer service.
