another excellent day with high flyer, in the wet windy north sea somewere, 20 plus codling and few whiting, cracking laugh with loads of banter, plenty of tea and coffee, good skipper making the right decision to take us in when it got too rough, thunder and lightening brewing, all the best jon, see you again soon. ps gareth is writing this as barrys hand is in a sling from reeling to many fish in yesterday haha
Skippers Reponse: Nice one Barry ended up ok for the weather conditions. Enjoyed it mate, maybe let Gareth have a hook next time!!! See you soon bud. Jon. (High Flyer)

A tough day out today with the wind restricting us again too fishing inshore off Corton.Started well with a nice codling early on but then slowed what with the wind stopping the boat swinging with the tide and then when we did eventually swing round the weed started and after a couple of hours gardening decided to admit defeat and come in,Finished the day with about 8-10 codling and also some small whiting.Jon as usual was looking after us well but can't unfortunately control the weather,so let's see in a week or two wind might drop off and we can try somewhere different.
Skippers Reponse: Tough old day bill, british weather!! Summer be here soon mate hang in there. Appreciate you guys coming out again. Cheers. Jon.

Another great trip on the high flyer. Fishing was tough but i still took home 4 nice sized cod. Conditions were not ideal with a good chop on the water and a very stiff breeze but as always the experience of the skipper ensured we were safe and as comfortable as possible whilst still getting a full day of fishing. Great bunch of guys plenty of chat and banter as always with loads of tea to keep the throat lubricated.
Skippers Reponse: Bit of a lumpy southerly Paul, soon be summer, please dont wear your shorts again! Thanks for coming out, appreciate it . Jon. (High Flyer)

Another great day on the High Flyer Jon was at the helm today and took us to the known producing marks small tides and weed at the first mark but a small move and the weed was minimal had 6 very good keeper codling 3 - 4lb for the table which will make good eating, wind picked up after lunch and tide went slack so time to head in which was a wise move.
Skippers Reponse: bit windy paul 35mph plus! least we got a few and home early! thanks mate. jon.

Another great day on the High Flyer. Paul at the helm today as Jon skiving. Huge tide and tons of weed made holding bottom a challange at times, but still had 5 very good keeper codling for the table, a few whiting taking up hook space reserved for cod one of which was a good size. lots of cod on board so all happy. wind picked up and sea got really lumpy after lunch but a seasoned group so for once no one groundbaiting! Thanks to Paul for his 'top secret' spot that avoided the pesky weed and brought me my last 2 cod. Cant wait for the next trip.
Skippers Reponse: Thanks paul glad day was successful in the end despite weed and wind! have to find this top secret spot!!
