A great day on the High Flyer with Jon, as usual. Put us on the fish with all on board catching. Good variety of fish caught : dog fish, thornback, pouting and whiting. Plenty of drinks, snacks and banter.

First time out with Jon been out on many boats from different towns including Whitby Scarborough Grimsby Sweden Ukraine and Germany.jon made us very welcome and we had a really good days fishing rods and bait provided in the price and is good value for money.i thought the boat was fantastic pleasure to fish of this spotlessly clean and plenty of good quality rod rest.tea and coffee all day at no extra cost with biscuits thanks for a really enjoyable day Jon hope to see you again soon.������

Nice day today after so many cancellations due to wind. Everyone caught at least one thornback. 14 in total all returned. A few spotty dogs starting to show and dozens of whiting. Also one dab. Plenty of hot drinks and nibbles throughout the day as usual. Well done Jon

Great day on the High Flyer. Plenty of room due to some last minute cancellations, rough on the skipper. Fishing was hard in a very big tide but whiting, pouting, a skate and a very early bass provided a good number of species caught. All on board caught thanks to a great skipper who’s not afraid to move round to find the fish. Many thanks Jon. Good banter, drinks and snacks made for a great day.

We managed to get out between bad weather days. Fishing a bit slow to start but after a couple of moves things picked up and everyone was catching. A lot of whiting four Thornbacks 3 returned and a few spotty dogs.. Jon sorted out a couple of the lads who were.feeling a bit queezy and I think everyone came home happy. Plenty of hot drinks and banter as usual. Well done Jon

As always an amazing day out, You really can’t ask anymore from a skipper. Jon always finds the fish & he makes a decent cuppa. Jonis one of the best skippers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He is always available with help and advice to help you catch more fish

Another great day out on High Flyer 2. Jon’s a top skipper who always manages to find the fish. He’s also a great tea boy. He will always put the kettle on and look after you. This is a skipper who will go out of his way to help and advise with tackle & techniques. Thanks so much Jon. Steve S & P

Another fabulous day out with Jon on High Flyer 2, fishing a bit slow but Robin landed a 50+ lb tope after an epic battle, much to our delight, smoothies too, usual hospitality was up to excellent standards, thank you Jon for another very enjoyable day out.
