Another fabulous day out with Jon on High Flyer 2, fishing a bit slow but Robin landed a 50+ lb tope after an epic battle, much to our delight, smoothies too, usual hospitality was up to excellent standards, thank you Jon for another very enjoyable day out.

Lovely day out again on high flyer 2, managed to catch some Bass & good size smooth hounds, as always Jon looked after us well with refreshments, biscuits & choc bars throughout the day. Thank you Jon, looking forward to our next trip out.

Brilliant day out on the High Flyer, many thanks Jon. Wasn’t expecting too much with the wind easterly but you knew exactly where to fish with great results. I had 5 skate (all female so returned) numerous spotty dogs and smoothies plus a couple of the obligatory whiting. Real surprise was a lovely codling. Can’t wait for another trip.

Nice to be back out today. Previous allowable trips cancelled due to strong winds. Everyone caught fish and enjoyed the reasonable weather. Good variety of species, smooth hounds, spottie dogs, pouting, thorn back ray and loads of whiting including one 2 lb +. Plenty of tea and coffee and amusing chat.

My 13 year olds sons first experience fishing on a boat....what can i say..." absolutely great, "We was made to feel really welcome from the moment my son and i stepped on to the High flyer 2. The skipper was brilliant and made it very easy for him to set up and get fishing inclusive of letting him reel in and catch on his Rod, We didn't catch loads but had a steady stream of spotty dogs /small amount of whiting and 1 decent Skate, hot drinks come frequently with a mixture of hot chocolate ,Tea and coffee ( even with the costa noises) chocolate biscuits and chocolate bars were handed out all day and to end his experience he stood at the helm with the skipper and navigated the boat back to GY, thankfully he didn't navigate the pier heads,, overall I couldn't recommend this boat and the crew anymore , it was Brilliant. we will definitely be manning the HIGH FLYER 2 again"

What a day's fishing. Our group had 7 tope. Plus the ones that got away. Jon the skipper was very knowledgeable, with plenty of stories and some jokes. If you want a good days fishing, then book this up

Being a complete novice and not knowing what to expect from my first sea fishing trip I am so glad I went on High Flyer 2 for what turned out to be an unforgettable day for all the right reasons! Jon is a fantastic skipper and fisherman taking us straight to the fish, going above and beyond to make it perfect. Great hospitality, a clean and well presented boat along with Jon’s bank of knowledge to help with catching and landing the biggest fish time after time has certainly guaranteed a return visit by myself. Looking forward to the next. Thanks Jon.
