Just back from a fantastic days fishing on board the Wandering Star. lee and his crew gave a 2nd to none service and looked after our group effortlessly. The banter and professionalism on board the Wandering Star made our day even more enjoyable. Plenty of fish were caught and Lees local knowledge was apparent in finding good fishing grounds, wreck site and other good spots. Everyone on board had a fantastic day and we look forwards to fishing with you again.

Thanks for an amazing day of fishing i ended up catching 3 monster Ling and the crew were very helpfull and kept the tea and coffie flowing. Lee is a very good skipper and we will be back soon.

Went as a group of 5 and one needed wheelchair access and it wasn't a problem at all, there was a enough space to move around and fish, the crew was very helpful and professional and the boat was nice and clean and well equipped ! Overall it was Great day out and caught more than enough Fish ! :)

Awesome Day out!, Skipper & Crew are REALLY helpful with knowlege, Rigs, Tips, Advice, Patience, teaching everything a new starter would need to have a TOP day out fishing! Great laugh, Friendly, Fun, and I Would Certainly Recommend Fishing With the Wandering Star! They are 5 Star Crew Perfect Day out, Great Fishing, Long time Since i last been out on a boat fishing and it was the Mrs First time out she loved it!!! I really can't thank these guys enough, Dont book with anyone else but these Guys, Worth EVERY Penny!! Huge Thanks from Pete & Katy Done us Proud Lads!! Cheers!

I had a great day fishing on the Wandering Star last Wednesday (19-09-12). I have not been sea fishing for many many years but Lee and his crew made me feel right at ease and were most helpfull. The boat was first class and I can't say thank you enough to Lee and the others for great day.

First time on the Wandering Star, saw many different species landed including an octopus of around 3 pounds which was returned safely into the sea. The skipper and skippers mate were round everybody anytime help was needed, plenty of banter and interaction, with plenty hot drinks throughout the day! Some nice cod to take home, nothing bigger than 5 or 6 pounds, but the ling were plentiful and there were well over half a dozen double figures. My personal best came in at 16 pounds exactly! Would I go again?, definitely with no reservation!! ten out of ten for everything! My brother, my boss, my mates, all had an enjoyable day out there on the water in the sunshine!!

the day got off to a slow start, hitting some irritating whities on the way out, but at the same time filling up the mackerel bait box! even the odd small gurnard and pouting/bleg. heading up to mid morning and into dinnertime the real fish started to appear, with ling and cod between 4-7 pound, a couple of haddock around 4 pounds. The gaff had to come out a few times to land the 12 pounder ling, and my 16 pounder ling. This was a personal best for me and the heaviest fish on the boat today! All in all everyone caught decent size fish and went home happy. Cant fault the boat, skipper and mate, a damn good days fishing and a damn good day out. Ten out of ten and I'll deffo use him again
