Our party of 3 adults and 3 children went fishing with Dominic for an hour on Wed afternoon. The skipper was very laid back, helpful and great with the kids. Most of us had never done sea fishing with rods before. Dominic was easy and flexible with our booking and I think we were all very at ease on his boat. Although the weather was great, the mackerel were nowhere to be found but he did his upmost to try and get us some fish. The boat in total eventually caught 1 pollock, 2 cod, 1 gurnard and 1 coal fish. My partner caught a good sized cod, metres from the harbour entrance that we ate the following evening. Dominic explained the tides, the different fish and even gutted us the cod - revealing the fish's stomach contents to great interest of the kids (a velvet swimmer crab). All in all we all had a great time and laugh on Dominic's boat. Some of the kids wanted to go again the following day! had a good 8 hour trip with dominic, unfortunately it was very windy but we always found somewhere to drop a line .the fishing was quite poor due to the conditions but that said we had a good mix of species even cod that we were not wanting due to we fish for them at home all the time.dominic reckoned it was the 1st time he has came across a crew not wanting cod. all in it was a good trip and i am looking forward to returning again next year

the pirelli boys from carlisle had another great days fishing on preditor 11 .skipper Dom took us to various spots where we all caught lots of different species,MACKERAL,GURNARD,CONGER EEL,COD,HADDOCK,POLLACK,1 HUGE CRAB,DOGFISH,COLEFISH. Many thanks to Dom for advice on baits and tackle and great banter today.Looking forward to our next trip with you.

Spent a great 3 hours with Dominic on Predator II. Party of 10 with 4 children and Dom was very patient with us all. Weather has not the best but this was a great experience. Would highly recommend Dominic as nothing was to much trouble and gave us the benefit of his knowledge and experience. Will definitely return, hopefully soon.

Skipper Dominic gave up on the weekend before it had a chance! We arrived Friday 15th May for a weekend of fishing aboard Predator II having driven 250 miles and pre-booked accomodation. Whilst the weather wasn't the best at the weekend we were disappointed to be told that the whole weekend was a complete write off. We were fishing the harbour so know exactly what the weather was like and as it turned out we could have fished Saturday 2pm to 8pm and Sunday 3pm to 8pm which would have salvaged something from the weekend. Dominic seemed to have made his mind up on Friday that he wouldn't be fishing so that he could spend his weekend in the pub instead.

Skippers Reponse: steve, safety is paramount and ,I don't cancel trips lightly...Saturday was unfishable and on sunday you were booked on a different boat...so that venture was not my call.

Good days fishing Dominic's a great bloke worked hard to put us on the fish plenty of Huss including a nice 11lb and a nice 8lb pollack, I caught the only cod of the day which Dominic kindly filleted for me thanks :)

My best fishing trip i have been on so far and it was my first time uptiding . Dom the skipper helped me anytime i needed him with anything and he is allways on deck either fishing himself or helping others . We caught 19 cod between the 3 of us with 2 of them over 8lb . Thanks again mate we will be back.
