Fishing on the Fairway, great experience and really good wreck fishing boat, plenty of space on boat. Really good day, loads of double figure pollock, large coalfish too. Really good skipper and a good laugh also. Highly recommended.

Hi wreck fishing Saturday lots of mackerel pollock and scad ( horse mackerel ) did not do much bottom fishing then as wanted fish for freezer . Sunday bit breezy no problem in a catamaran about 25 Tope caught although not the very big ones up to 24lbs and a lot lost catching them all day anchored 1 mile off with Huss and dogs. Mackerel bit slow inshore but plenty 12 miles off good ones and a lot of scad about I find them good eating mild taste cheers Roy

Hi out yesterday not many mackerel inshore but 14 miles out a fair few . The bloom in the water causing problems inshore but offshore water cleared up. Tope still slow inshore with the bloom dis colouring the water not bringing the large mackerel shoals in to attract them. Hope it clears up soon . Off Isle of Man gin clear with loads of pollock and coalfish on the wrecks out there cheers Roy

Fishing Report by Roy Smith

Hi out yesterday on offshore wreck near Isle of Man . Very good fishing everyone caught loads of pollock and coalfish. At times 12 fish coming in each drift never stopped catching all day . Most fish in the 4 to 8 lbs range . A very good wreck that produced well ( see action Roy Smith Facebook). These offshore Wrecks well worth the journey . Anglers well worn out after fighting fish all day. Roll on the next one cheers Roy
