Great little day onboard Lady Ann of Ramsgate with the Lithuanian Massive who travelled travelled down from London. We planned to have a day of 2 halves but we had to much fun on the skate so we stayed kept few for there dinner as freezers empty after lockdown. What a brilliant crowd on today. Relief Skipper Dick put us on the fish and made a mean coffee very enjoyable in the sun shame the wind didn't drop but 12 skate in total and 1 hound but couple PB's broken so happy days. Let's hope for better things to come, so nice to be back .taking bookings onboard Lady Ann of Ramsgate message Dawn on 07854 7723 14. Everything supplied rods bait hopefully peelers, if not worms. Picture is Lee with first hound of the year.

It's all systems go from 29th March for up to 6 fishing. The weather looks good, Duke IV has been serviced and passed the code survey so we are ready to go.
Hoping for Smoothounds, Bass and Skate along with Whiting and maybe Cod.
April was the hot time for spring Codling a few years ago off Ramsgate so fingers crossed we may be lucky.
Febuary last year we started finding Hounds and Skate are around now. With good bait and plenty of dates available, give me a call we have every chance of good fishing.

Had a quick run out today with my mechanic to try and have a tinker with new turbo unit, ended up with 20 skate biggest skate went 10.5 lb but more to the point 2 small hounds on lug. Happy days . Just to let you all know, we are still operating during the pandemic, with a maximum of 5 anglers onboard at £60 per person. (This includes all rods reels tackle and quality baits Inc lugworm.) The vessel runs with full covid safety equipment and everything is deep cleaned after every trip. Travelling to and from the vessel is quick and easy, and parking is nxt to vessel.
Fishing into April/may is normally excellent and is when our big bass are landed like our record catch at (19lb) caught onboard this vessel,and with over 35yrs experience of fishing out of Ramsgate we can definitely give you that edge to catch,

A hard days fishing with windy conditions limiting spots still managed to wangle few small hounds a chunky bass .A big thank you to the Luton massive what a cracking bunch you were. Well despite the terrible loss of days out this year due to COVID when the day came when we could again venture out we found some good fishing with plenty smoothounds and some excellent Bass this year
Now the winter is nearly here and the whiting shoals are starting to arrive and we can only hope for the elusive cod fingers crossed
As I am now full time I can offer midweek trips also

After a very hectic summer season with some great fishing onboard we now turn our attention to the autumn and winter season. Cod have already turned up,(see photo) the autumn bass will start migrating south and this is where they feed big for there journey to warmer waters. Fish can easily exceed double figures so now is your chance for that new pb. Thornbacks will start feeding heavily along with channel whiting, dabs and spurdogs, all turning up around the Goodwins. I think autumn is my best fishing season with the crisp mornings, nice cuppa and bacon sarnie whilst heading to the fishing grounds.
