  Report on-board Piscary

  In the smallest of weather windows between the recent storms. We managed to get out for the Kings Arms Southampton's first match of the year . There was a very big swell in the morning but the glassy seas meant we could do some varied fishing with a inshore reef then slightly more offshore reef followed by inshore bank which between them produced an unbelievable 12 species totally unheard of in late January.They included lots and lots probably too many Whiting , Congers, Smalleyed Rays,Blonde Ray, Smoothound, Spurdog,Black Bream, Quite a Few Bass and a 3 Bearded Rockling. Top 3 on the day

  In the Piscary species Hunt the boat tally is now 19! After only 1 trip Ed Taylor goes straight in to 1st place with 10 species

  As the fishing is so good at the moment I'm going to continue to do inshore trips when the weather allows.
