    Report on-board Discovery

    Sunday 17th of April
We left the Marina and headed offshore the wind was gusting 18kts wnw, i explained to the lads that it might be a bit rock and roll and that we could fish inshore if they wanted but they opted to for a mark 28 miles out well only 6 of the 11 booked turned up.
But they had paid so we set off. we arrived at our first wk to be down to 5 as one had fallen to the green monster we had a few drifts just producing small stuff ,Pollack,Pouting,Poor cod Whiting, one of the guys lost a nice fish close to the boat,we where now down to 4 as last nights session in the pub kicked in so we where well of shore fishing the wrecks with 4 people oops no i forgot we went down to 3 people as the others where talking to Neptune over the side asking for help and stuff like that The moral of the Story is dont go on a bender the night before it Cloggs up the fishing and clouds the water mind you as i was taught by a well known skipper in Caernarfon John Moore if there is Snow on the hills its too early to fish offshore the lads that stayed for the duration did ok under the conditions of a 1.5mtr sea
    Gary the Skipper
