    Hi all,
    Here on the Famous fishing continues to be steady with a few cod and ling been caught
    the mackerel are a bit hit or miss but enough been caught for bait
    hopefully with a settled spell of weather things can only improve for the better
    here is a picture on one of our regulars with a nice 15lb ling caught today

    Hi All,

    fishing here at Hartlepool continues to be providing good action for the anglers mainly good cod of the 3-6lb bracket and some better specimens upto 9-10lb for the luckier angler
    the ling are slowly moving in with some good ones around the 13lb mark

    This lucky lad caught this monster 19.5lb well done him

    Hi All,
    we were out on sat 2nd may and what a day we had despite the unkind weather the guys mustered and well woth while it was too
    every on-board catching cod mostly between 3-4 lb and loads of small codling been returned fishing was steady all day with flurries of fish coming aboard from every where we tried
    eventually we catch a herring fouled hooked on hokkis then a surprises mackerel the first this season

    Hi All,
    fishing here at Hartlepool is getting better by the day we are now averaging about 7- plus fish a day nothing big mostly 2-4lb mark with a few 6-8lbers thrown in for the luckier angler
    some settled weather should see the sport improve all the time
    Here is ste a regular crew with a sample of the fish at the minute

    Here at Hartlepool on board the Famous the fishing continues to be good with a steady stream of cod and ling coming aboard
    The mackerel are still here which apart from good eating provide us with fresh bait for fish
    the average size of the cod are 3-6 lb with the odd bigger specimen of 10-12lb and the ling are in the 7-12 lb bracket
    fingers crossed the weather will stay settled and the fish will bite

    The fishing here at Hartlepool continues to be generally very good with a few ling now starting to appear and a generous amount of cod in the 2-6lb bracket coming aboard when the sea conditions allow us get out
    fish are falling to shads and hokkis baited with squid.

    there has been reports of a few mackerel starting to appear we had our first one 2 weeks ago and thats the only one we have had to date but it wont be long

    so if you fancy a day out as always make us your first port of call and lets go fishing

    the famous and the Ali-Cat both got out on Sunday the 27th April and both achieving very similar results as both boats were fishing together
    The cod never stopped coming aboard nothing massive mind but the bulk of the cod between 3-4lb lovely for the table with the odd splattering of 6-8lbs
    The fish were taking most baits shads and ammo unwashed squid having the edge those using it frequently getting double shots of cod
    The water is clearing up now and the shads are working well but the AMMO bait squid and bluey is still pipping the shads for the number of fish caught
    so jump aboard to catch your cod .

    This can only prove the amount of fish down there.

    Here at Hartlepool the fishing is still good we have had plenty of ling and some great cod latley we have had a 23lb cod an 18lber 19lber 16lber 14lber 12lber and thars been this week alone
    so there is still a good chance of landing that big cod you have been looking for
    come guys jump aboard for the chance of a big un
    Well done to all those lucky anglers
