    Sunday 2nd June
    another excellent days fishing with huge mackerel coming aboard. bait sorted nothing can beat fresh mackerel. fish coming in steady almost all day the odd quite spell
    when there was no tide.
    but a much nicer size fish now coming over the Gunnells. with at least 5-6 fish into double figures both cod and ling
    a few pollack making an appearance as well turned out a lovely days fishing. everybody taking home a good bag of fish each

    WED 28th may
    the fishing the last couple of weeks has been excellent with fish coming in almost all day and at every place we stooped
    we picked up fish lot of cod in the 2=3lbs mark and a fair few in the 4- 6lbs bracket a few up 8lbs
    also we are now picking up good amounts of lovely big mackerel resulting in a good few ling upto 10-11lbs

    lovely few days fishing
    with fish coming aboard every place we stopped. with baits squid prawns and mackrel all working really well.
    but also shads fished exceptional at times
    and even good old fashioned jiggers taking fish.
    well over a 100 cod anglers averaging 6-8 up to 12 -14 fish each and a good few fish in the 4-6lbs class
    odd cod to 8lbs and lings into double figures

    weekend sat and Sunday 4th and 5th may
    at last some decent weather sat turned out to be a cracking days fishing taking around 70 codlings half a dozen ling. and even a few haddocks and more important
    our first few MACKREL of the season lovely signs. nothing big best cod around 5lbs and best ling 6lbs taking fish from all wrecks we visited
    Sunday was a beautifully flat day but a little slower than Saturday
    but none the less a promising start to the season and now the MACKREL in numbers cant be far off

    at last this weekend looks like some nice weather on its way. and the only high pressure ive seen on the weather forecasts this year crazy weather

    sunday 1st oct
    tides today were a huge 5.7mtr
    . but we still managed to pick away picking fish up here and there. was definaterly better once the tide changed in the afternoon
    and we did pick up some nice pollack to 5lbs a few cod.mackrel were there but also a little harder than they have been.
    then as the tide eased few nice ling with alan and alan picking up cracking lings at 14 lbs and then 19lbs
    lovely fish in trying conditions well done lads

    NICE FISH
    Despite probaly one of our worst ever summers for crappy weather. we are still managing some nice fish. when the weather allows
    us too this week weve had some nice cod to double figures pollack 7lbs
    some nice haddocks to 2.5l and as usual a lot of lovely lings of 16lbs 18lbs and to top it all another
    over 22lbs taken by duck
    well done that man
    if we could only get a settled spell of weather the FISH are ready to go

    JFK TWO
    we have had a brilliant weeks fishing this week. whilst the weather has allowed. some lovely chunky ling and cod now sticking there heads out with lings 14lbs 15lbs 16lbs and 18lbs and a beauty 20lbs
    with 4 or 5 double figure lings at least each day. and with the weather and the tides behaving themselves we had almost perfect drifts over the wrecks taking upto 5 and 6 fish a drift
    cod averaging 4-6lbs and lings 5-8lbs and a few better lings also a few pollack. taking around 50 to 80 fish per day
    if only we could get a decent spell of weather the fishing is spot on when it is
    michael and his mate from bury were out with us on friday and pulled in his PB ling pictured a craking ling over 20lbs fighting every inch of the way

    22nd july JFK TWO
    this week has been spot on taking upto 90 fish per trip from the wrecks. most lovely plump cod around 4-5-6lbs mark. with a few double figured cod. with upto 6 fish a drift
    surprisingly a lot more cod than ling boated
    but some nice ling a again good few double figures best upto 16lbs. taking by derek and his lads coming down from berwick. all taking around 10-plus fish each
    But best fish by far this week is MARK FISHERS STUNNING COD OF 26.5LBS

    sun 9th
    after some rubbish weather again was nice to get back out. and it turned out to be a really lovely days weather wise
    and the fishing was also steady. with a decent stamp of fish coming aboard with cod to 10lbs and ling
    also to just on 10lbs.
    and topped off by alans lovely pollack at 12.5lbs. which lead him a merry old dance, making a good few diving lunges never giving a inch
