sat 12th november
what a lovely day out especially after all the winds weve had of late
first stop straight into MACKREL !!! YES MACKREL and really big mackrel at that a nice suprise for mid november
loads coalies whiting. coming over the gunnels as well and a sprinkling of cod
a steady days fishing with the cod showing up nicely both at anchor and on the drift
the cod were falling to squid prawns and of course fresh mackrel baits
with the shorter days and cod on the ground we will be starting are winter fishing at anchor [ uptiding/ downtiding ]

sun 2nd oct
despite the fairly windy conditions that have plagued us for weeks now . wew managed some steady fishing. with cod coming in two at a time sometimes
nothing bigger than 6lbs but some canny fish plenty mackrel still coming in
then a few nice lings making a appearance lings 8lbs and 9lbs best 10.5lbs going to lee
all in all considering the wind a very enjoyable day

thursday 8th sept
well it was a wet old day at times. but thankfully they was a few nice fish sprinkeled through out the day to help
with both cod and ling into double figures best cod 12.5lbs and ling again 12.5lbs and 4 other fish into double figures
and a few nice pollack upto 8lbs
with fish coming in a few here and a few there making up to a steady days fishing overall with around 40 fish taken

monday 22nd
its been another excellent few days with some lovely fish coming in over the gunnells days with over 12 double figure fish being landed both ling and cod
and some excellent lings 14 15 16 and 18 lbs todays by lee angus over 25lbs
a lovely fish without a doubt. with around 60 nice fish taken 50/50 cod and ling and a fair few pollack around the 5-8lbs bracket
most fish falling to fresh mackrel and squid baits
with very little drift shads have been virtually useless -

sat 13th and sun 14th aug
we ha ve enjoyed a perfect weekend, flat seas although foggy all day saturday and hot and sunny sunday. but we seen some really nice fish each day
with one of our regulars rimas up from peterbourgh a good hike.so deserved a fish or two and bagged himself a lovely chunky ling of 21.5lbs
duck also taking a ling of 15lbs, with a good few cod and other ling into double figures. with all wrecks visited producing fish
sunday another lovely day with dan taking a cracking cod of 16.5lbs thinking he had the sweep in the bag. until literaly the last drift of the day when mark decided
to bag a cracking ling of 18.75lbs
so along with good amounts of lovely cod ling pollack and now even a good few haddock showing up
ended up a highlly enjoyable weekend

Hi All,
Well it's been a cracking couple of days angling Friday 22/07/22 anglers Taking Cod averaging 6lbs and Lings averaging 6 to 9lbs,
Darren pulled a nice Ling hitting 16lb.9oz, but it was Joshua for his first time boat angling who took the biggest Ling of the day weighing in at 18lb.7oz.
Today 23/07/22 was a little slower but the lads still managed to pul some decent ones out with Cods averaging 3 to 6lb with a couple in the 10lb and 12lb bracket.
Then Darren hit in to a Ling of 18lb.8oz some really nice size being caught well done lads.

19th july
had a trip out last night was still a little northerly swell still rolling but was a really warm night. on the hottest day of the year. the best place to be.
picked away with both cod and ling coming aboard. taking cod to 5lbs and ling to 12lbs
then chris hooked into this lovely ling at 19lbs a pesonal best

friday 1st july
WHAT A BELTER non STOP ACTION. with fish after fish coming aboard lovely stamp of fish with the cod in the 5-9lbs bracket and a good few double figure cods best 14.5lbs others 12lbs and 13lbs
tons of ling again with lings going 12lbs - 13lbs-14lbs and 16lbs- 16.5lbs
averaging 7-10lbs. we managed a fair few mackrel for the killer baits but at times they were a little hard to come by. all in all a cracking days fishing
