weathers still being a pain but we got out on sunday. mackerel still thin on the ground but we had plenty of whiting and dabs. a few codling and huss and the first gurnard of the season. Roll on the better weather!

This weekend saw the first of this years mackerel, hopefully this is the start of the summer! Also catching dabs, whiting, codling,doggies. A few plaice, thornbacks and huss have been landed too.

Since putting the boat back in the water 2 weeks ago the wind hasnt stopped blowing from the east so we have had to cancel all but one trip. Hopefully april will give us a break in the weather and let us get out there to catch some fish!

Mackerel thinning out this week but still a few about. plenty of whiting, dabs and decent huss keeping the rods busy. the codling seem to of been hiding a bit the last few days but fingers crossed they will show again soon.

Plenty of whiting,dabs,mackerel about with some codling up to 4lb. The gurnards are starting to thin out now as we head towards winter. Bull huss still around in good numbers up to 14lb. Lets hope this month is kinder with the weather!

catching black bream and codling in good numbers this week. codling ranging from 2 to 8lb. plenty of mackerel,whiting,dabs,gurnards,dogfish keeping the rods busy. plenty of bull huss from 5-12lb on the big baits too.

End of August- beginning of September. plenty of pan sized dabs, whiting,mackerel,dog fish,gurnards and a few codling with some black bream thrown in the mix too. on baited feathers/flowing traces with smaller hooks on to lug worm baits. plenty of bull huss around at the moment to big mackerel baits with thornbacks showing too.
