Waited inshore catching mackerel,dabs,whiting,Huss,gurnards and dogs until the wind eased and tide swung to make the sea state calm enough to get out to the marks producing. I think the lads will agree it was worth the wait.

Whiting,dabs,dogs,Huss,codling,gurnard,rays,mackerel all in good numbers. Good run of tope at the moment too. Spaces available next week.

Strings of mackerel. Big dabs, gurnards, plenty of double figure Huss, whiting,codling and thornbacks making up the catch today. The tope are in so get on touch asap for a crack at these hard fighting sharks.

Fishings slowly moving towards the summer species now. First few full strings of mackerel brought aboard and the tope starting to show. Smooth hound inshore on crab baits too. Plenty of double figure Huss on the bigger baits . Whiting dabs dogs and codling making up the rest of the catch at the moment. If this nice weather keeps up we should see the summer species in full swing soon enough.

Its looking like the weather could improve heading into next week. Fingers crossed! The tope are due any time now. Still a few weekend spots available through June and weekday dates available.

Bad traffic meant that only one person made it with us today. Cant turn someone down after they made it here so took them to the local hot spot. This meant we saw the red arrows and boated plenty of fish including whiting,dabs,dogs,codling and plenty of double figure bull huss. We do normally charge extra for the red arrows when landing a double figure fish...

As I imagine is the case for most of the country the wind this may has been a nightmare. When we've had favourable offshore winds allowing us to get shelter inshore the fishing has been pretty good. Stacks of whiting,some good size fish too for the time of year,nice dabs,a few codling and the ever present dogs. The bigger baits taking plenty of decent Huss into double figures and thornbacks. Still got spaces this bank holiday weekend if you fancy a trip out.
