Some nice Smoothounds off Ramsgate for now like this fine female at just under 10lb. Ayden landed this one on squid bait just as Robin landed a Thornback Ray. Both fish released. As the water warms up and the water clears we can look forward to Bass and Mackerel. With plenty of dates available give me a call

With water temperatures staying low it's the Skate that are keeping us busy with some good size females that we return and a few male fish that make the best eating. Loads of Doggies along with Whiting and Dabs making up the numbers. When the wind comes from the south things should change with more Bass and Smoothounds. Plenty of dates available including weekends. Best Skate to Sam from Ramsgate who won the money today with the best Skate around 8lb. These 2 fiesty males came along at once with both returned to fight another day.

It's all systems go from 29th March for up to 6 fishing. The weather looks good, Duke IV has been serviced and passed the code survey so we are ready to go.
Hoping for Smoothounds, Bass and Skate along with Whiting and maybe Cod.
April was the hot time for spring Codling a few years ago off Ramsgate so fingers crossed we may be lucky.
Febuary last year we started finding Hounds and Skate are around now. With good bait and plenty of dates available, give me a call we have every chance of good fishing.

The birds are working and the Bass are feeding. 3 good Bass today along with some Schoolies and a few Mackerel showing again with the water clearing.
The Smoothound fishing is still wide open with around a dozen today to 11.5 lb.
Skate numbers are increasing with many fish on the banks, we were due to go there but the Bass and Hounds kept us busy in the deeper water.
As usual Ramsgate is the place to be for top fishing opportunities with Duke IV to keep you amongst the fish.

The fishing just gets better with plenty of Smoothounds with some into double figures. More Mackerel and scad as the water clears. Bass numbers are increasing with some schooling up on the banks. The fishing is good, we have the best bait and tackle so come along and join in the fish fest. Pic shows Harry aged 13 with an 11lb 8oz Hound, his best yet.

Good fishing off Ramsgate with plenty of Smoothound, from small whipper snappers to double figure bruisers. Good numbers of Bass and Skate to go with them. Top quality fishing around Ramsgate at the moment with Skate, Smoothound and Bass there to be caught. The crabs have peeled and while it feels like winter spring has definitely sprung.
It was the Skate that stood out today but plenty of species there at the moment. Pic shows Chandra and his group from Kent.
Many dates available so come along and show the world that Britain is fishing and we are the most consistent around. Pic shows Chadras group catch today! -

The fishings good today aboard Duke lV with some nice Skate up to 10lb, Dabs and 3 nice Smoothounds around 5-6lb. Quite a surprise to get among the Hounds at this time of year, maybe the temperature of the water at around 9'c is keeping some of the summer species back from migrating south. Still plenty of Bass off Ramsgate although none so far today. Duke lV is out of the water for maintenance for 2 weeks but ready to go from mid February so give me a call and come along and make the most of the super fishing. Great fishing off Ramsgate with lots of good size Whiting with plenty of Skate to double figures, Bass and the last of the Smoothound, also the best time for a Cod. We have good bait available and plenty of dates for groups or individuals. A beautiful sunny day as well today so come on give me a call on 07715050851 and let's go fishing.
