The biggest Ling so far this month was 26lb 5oz, caught by Steve Garner.
We are still getting Plaice inshore along with Black Bream. The bigger Bream, however, have been on the wrecks up 3lb 7oz with Congers up to 60lb. There have also been some good Cod and Pollack showing.

Don Matthews had a good day on the Conger, with over 40 caught on the day. The biggest of the day was caught by Jamie Hancock with one at 60lb.
We also had some big Ling showing in their 20's - the biggest being 26lb 5oz, caught by Steve Garner.
We are still catching Cod and Pollack with the Black Bream just starting to show. -

We have recently been catching some nice Conger with Cod and Pollock on the offshore wrecks.
We have also had some good Ling up to 21lb - makes a great change to get some great weather to get offshore fishing. -

Finally, it looks like the weather has broken and we are having some fine fishing weather.
Inshore we are still getting; Black Bream, Plaice, Dabs and Smooth-hounds. On the offshore wrecking we are still getting Cod, Pollack with the Congers and Black Bream just starting to show.

Latest from Ocean Warrior 3
June has started well with some nice Cod and Pollack showing on the wrecks, with the biggest this week from Mick Toomber with his at 21lb.
Although, when the weather has not been so kind the inshore fishing has been good too with some nice Plaice and Black Bream coming up.
Here's hoping for some good summer weather and some great fish to come...

Latest information from Ocean Warrior 3.
We are still getting some nice Plaice inshore and Black Bream just starting to show.
On the wreck fishing we are getting some Cod showing again with Pollack. The Conger eels are starting to feed and have had some over 60lb so far. Also catching some nice Ling at the moment too.

We are now heading into April already.
Fishing has been varied so far this year. We have had some good Cod and Pollock on the wrecks at the begining of the year, along with a good sized Coalfish.
We have also had some great inshore fishing, catching some good sized Plaice, which makes a pleasant change to offshore wreck fishing when the weather isn't so favourable.
The odd Mackerel are starting to show themselves and we should be looking to start Conger fishing in the next few weeks. -

Recent catches - we are still getting some nice Cod's on the open ground. The biggest yesterday was Sean with his at 15lb. They also had some nice Whiting. But, the weather has not been good recently, looking forward to it dropping again to get so we can get out and get some of those bigger Cod. Sean Harris had a days ground fishing for Cod. He had the best one of the day that weighed 20lb and was caught using worm and squid bait, on an inshore ledge. They also had some Whiting and Dogfish that day.
The fishing has been a little inconsistant recently due to the weather. There are still Conger and Cod on the wrecks if you get the weather to get out. We have now started inshore ground fishing for Cod. It should start to improve once the weather gets colder, as we are still catching plenty of Mackerel inside, along with some Dabs and Plaice. Well what can i say about Dave Elliott ?
Top skipper, courteous and simply the best at what he does.
Out on Friday with him.......lots of medium codling about, mix of medium sized pollack and a sprinkling of good sized conger. One things for sure , he tries and tries.....takes it personally if his anglers don't catch fish; now thats gotta be good.
All my personal bests have come on Ocean Warrior 3. Thoroughly recommend him to anyone and reasonable rates to boot. Top skipper. You never caught a decent conger or cod.......Speak to Dave, he'll soon put you straight. Tight lies.
