Fishing is superb at the moment with monumental amounts of skate.
We are now starting to see bass and had lots of whiting and dogs plus a bonus large gurnard.
Best skate this weekend was at 15lb plus loads over 10lb. -

Had a party of fathers and children at weekend and the weather and fishing were spot on.
Around 40 skate some dogfish and nice large whiting for a bit of variety came over the side.
I will start hunting for hounds this weekend and have been stocking up with hermits the past few months so bait won't be an issue. -

The skate have arrived in biblical numbers, takes less than 30 mins to get to fishing grounds and pretty much non stop fish.
If weather remains kind the bass and hounds will be around shortly.
I have a pretty full diary but have a couple of walk on spaces and whole boat Easter weekend (Sunday) if you fancy a day at sea. -

Fishing remains frustrating with the expected autumn run of cod pretty much non existent.
However good bags of whiting with the odd skate and dogfish are still about.

Been waiting for expected Autumn cod run, but none so far.
Luckily the Thornback Ray are still in abundance and plenty of whiting and dogfish to keep us busy.

Having a real treat when the weather is kind.
Friday we got to my favourite hound spot but weed was a problem , we moved a few times and found the weed was not so bad closer in, the hounds bass and skate soon appeared and remained pretty much all day.
Best hound was 18lb loads snapped off.
Sunday was windy but we managed a few hours on the same mark. Hounds again to 14lb and as the tide dropped we saw gulls working so had a go and found bass and mackerel. -

Been absolutely fantastic fishing last month with large numbers of hounds,skate and the the occasional bonus bass.
The next few weeks should stay the same and we may see the first of the winter cod. -

Been a while since last report . Fishing has gone a bit quiet
Last couple of trips but luckily I have found the mackerel
Shoals and we have enjoyed catches of 100 and more per trip
Also numerous bass but all small sadly.
The weed has been a bit of a problem but if you persevere the fish are there -

Hounds are showing everywhere with plenty of larger pregnant females.
50+ a trip plus loads of skate.
Oliver had 5 doubles on Sunday , age 8
