The skate have started and we were amongst them at the weekend
Nothing huge yet but there will be large females amongst all the smaller males.

Boat has had its annual out of water tidy up and a few new bits to enhance the boat
Such as Blue Tooth sterio system and phone charging system for all the anglers with their Iphones etc

The cod have arrived in big numbers. No large ones yet but plenty of 2-4lb fish with the odd thornback ray making an appearance.
Boats are regularly getting over 30 codling keepers and 50 or more whiting
Squid and lug cocktails doing the damage.
I have a few dates left this year and early next year is filling fast. -

Been a while since I updated , what a brilliant couple of months- not one cancellation due to weather, and loads of fish caught.
We are now catching a few codling and lots of whiting and dogs, plus loads of skate and the odd straggler smoothound.
The winter species will be around for the next few months and fingers crossed the weather is kind so we can get at them.
I still have a few dates left this side of Christmas so treat yourself to a trip
