The fishing is brilliant at the moment with plenty of large hounds to keep me busy.
Bass are less prolific and skate have disappeared but the hounds really are worth catching.
We are averaging about 30 hounds per trip and over half are double figures. -

Another great weekends fishing, loads of smoothound but none of the larger ones we have been getting. Some skate mackerel and a few bass keeping us going.
Spaces this Friday .. Perfect tides. -

Had the best weekend so far this year for smoothounds
40 on Friday best one 14lb and several smash ups
60+ on sat with one around 20lb
20 Sunday until the easterly wind ruined it,
A few bass plus skate and a sprinkle of mackerel, made a brilliant weekend -

Another cracking weekends fishing
The mackerel have arrived and are in good numbers, plenty of hounds about but no big ones yet....
We had numerous species, cod,scad,dogs,bass,hounds,pouting,whiting and skate all on the same mark.
I have spaces this Friday for individuals. -

What a couple of weeks of superb fishing!
B/hol Monday we braved a fresh nw breeze and went to my favourite skate mark 18 skate and a nice lot of hounds
Had to move when tide turned as it became too uncomfortable so headed for shelter.. Found a shoal of bass and ended up with a great haul. -

The fishing is getting better and better... Hounds have shown and are getting bigger, large numbers of skate and bass !!
We had a nice lot from a lower river mark and will be going again b/hol Monday,

Another cracking good weekends fishing. Plus for once perfect weather..
We tried for smoothounds and our efforts were rewarded (once we managed to find a spot not full of dogfish and whiting) best one was around 5lb but loads of 2-3 lb to keep us going.. they love fresh hermit crab.
We caught some nice skate as well, so all in all a great time was had by all .. -
