Hi guys, weekends here again!
With a break in the weather ( at last! )
We'll be offering a night trip tomorrow night (sunday 19th) 6pm till midnight, its £35 per person. 5 places available.
Monday 20th, 730am to 430pm, 7 places, £48
Thursday 23rd, 730am to 430pm, 5 places, £48
Friday 24th, 730am to 430pm, 4 places, £48
Sunday 26th, 730am to 430pm, 2 places, £48
We have raised our uptiding prices slightly due to the fact we're only taking 8 people now, you get more space and wont be shoe horned on with all the tangles you get on other boats.

Absolute cod bonanza today for our anglers!
Our biggest just ounces shy of double figures, with a good helping of 6-8lbers too, plenty of 3-4lbers and even more 2-3lbers.
The best angler had around 30 fish himself, returning plenty of in size fish, just keeping the better ones.
Best bait remains unwashed squid and black lug.
Our diary is open now and we continue to fill our weekend places, give me a call on 07977 436903 if you fancy a run off with me.

We put a bit of a red eye special in yesterday, doing 2 trips before we break up for Christmas.
The lads had two blinding trips, the day trip produced what must have been 80-90 cod with the throw backs, the biggest tipping the scales just shy of 7lb.
The night trip saw us boat 40-50 cod to 5.5lb-6lb with throw backs.
I'd like the opportunity to wish all my customers old and new a very merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2020!

Its been a good week for us here at Whitby, it fished well on the bigger tides, tailing off a bit as the tides eased.
Even on the slacker tides we managed around 50 codlings between the few anglers we had onboard.
Among the fish we've seem some cracking fish into double figures, with a good few 4-5lbers every day too.
We're going to be fishing upto and through the Christmas break. If we get enough interest and suitable weather I'll be running some night trips too. Trips are £5 per person per hour.

It looks like we've a gap in the weather coming next week.

Sunday 22nd - 10 places
We only need 3 people minimum to sail, onboard toilet and hot drinks throughout the day.

The uptiding is booming here at whitby, saturday was a little slow with us running a shorter trip and having a seal with us most of the morning, despite moving it kept following us.
We have places tomorrow and thursday, and also for the weekend.
The uptide festival starts on the 9th, with huge prize pool up for grabs for only £5 entry on top of your charter fee.
If we cant get to sea with weather, I also offer shore guiding for Cod. Theres been plenty of fish about so far this winter.

The Uptiding is in full swing at Whitby at the minute, before I left to come on holiday we were boating lots of codlings, with bags of 20 fish common with the more experienced anglers.
Im currently away and will resume my charters on the 25th of this month, also with the darker nights I'll be starting up with my night uptiding trips again.
With everyones safety and comfort in mind I'll be trying to limit all individual bookings to max of 8 people, as I have with all night trips from the start.
Also running 9/11 to 24/11 We have our Whitby Uptiding festival with a mahoosive £1000 up for grabs plus many daily cash prizes, all for £5 entry on top of your charter.
We've seen some cracking fish from the uptiding grounds this year including our biggest fish of the year.

After all this bad weather weve dropped back inshore uptiding with some great results.
The last two trips have thrown plenty of fish out, but yesterday after the huge northerly we managed to boat well over 100 codlings with loads of throw backs, most were over minimum size but the lads kept the best ones 40cm+ if they were deep hooked.
Im still getting messed around by people booking and not showing up, so please dont take offense at having to get deposits to me within 48 hours when asked.
We've plenty of availability from the 25th october and also into the next festival starting 9th November for 2 weeks. There's a massive prize board plus daily prizes.
Entry is £5 per person on top of your charter fee of £50. We will only be taking 8 anglers maximum on individual days, for maximum space and comfort, but will take upto 10 anglers on full boat bookings
We can supply hire tackle and bait if required for a little extra

With yet another bad weather day today, its time for an update, we've had a hard week this week as the tides have lifted.
Numbers have dropped but we've still managed to find a few nice fish each day securing our anglers quite a few daily placings in the festival, Cod into double figures and plenty of double figure Ling too.
We've plenty of upcoming spaces on good tides too, many see this time of year for beating their personal bests as the bigger ling tend come out to play.

Time for an update! We've seen some very nice fish this week, cod to 20lb, with a good few around the 7lb/8lb mark, Pollock to just under double figures, Ling into double figures, millions of Ballan Wrasse, plus coalies, pouting, whiting and doggies.
We started the week uptiding and as yhe tides have eased thd water has cleared slightly sllowing to get the shads to work, saturday was a poor day for us but the last two days have seen an improvement.
We put together an 3 hour evening trip for some of my friends and regular anglers aboard mistress, with young Nate Garret getting the best fish night. I have 5 places this comkng wednesday on an 3 hour evening trip.
We have spaces on day trips this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday too.
