Trot-on charters winners of the spring and summer 2013 w.c.s.a. festivals over 8 thousand pounds in cash prize money and
Hoping to win as much prize money as last year for there anglers both the cat and the 105 had a great 2013.
Trot-on charters are starter friendly with rods and reels available for hire from the boats sponsers Grauvell all the rods and reels are brand new and top quality. Trot on charters landed the biggest cod in whitby last year at over 24lb
And had various cod around 20lb including a 19lb festival winner which won paul pemblinton
5,550...... not bad for a days fishing
Ring now for a enjoyable days fishing aboard either a comfortable 10mtr cat that is disabled friendly and a superfast offshore 105 that will get you out to the wrecks quick. Heres a picture to show the standards we set ourselfs on

Fishing from Paul Eddon’s boat Trot On, Peter Stricksen hooked and landed a specimen Halibut of 56lb 12 oz. The fish beats the previous port record of 50lb.
Whitby regular Peter said “the fish took a squid bait dragged along the bottem. At first I thought I had caught the bottem but soon I realised I had hooked something big as it started stripping line from my reel.”
Trot on Skipper Paul Eddon initially thought they had hooked into a seal, but as the fish broke surface after a 25 minute scrap it was clear this was a very special fish indeed.
