Tones of thornback rays about at the moment september is the month for the bigger bass if bass is what you want i have some spaces left on some of the last bass trips of the year this month the ofd cod are showing up now so looking good for winter cod dates october to january are filling fast so get a date while you can

Had some good trips recently best trip was 72 bass 53 keepers up to 4.5lb. plenty of hounds about bigger ones slowly showing up had them up to 11lb so far skate are still about patchy at times but still showing well. The mackerel are well and truly in had over 150 last trip getting them most trips on the way out the skate bass and tope love it. Tope are showing had the smaller ones this weekend herd report of double figure ones offshore so looking to be a good season book in advance so you don't get disappointed when the time comes thanks skipper mark peters -

The bass fishing has begun with a bang had well over 25 last trip from schoolies up to 7lb. Numbers will increase over the next month making some of the best trips of the year. The rokar are still showing up in big numbers and the hounds have showed up biggest so far is 7lb had a dozen last trip mostly small
but give it a few weeks and the sizes will increase. Mackerel are showing further offshore not to long and they will be about strongly followed by the tope. The trips over may and june will be some of the best as most of the fish move in for a feed up to our advantage thanks
