we had some cracking Cod yesterday boated 26 in total & some slightly better size ones this time too!!
Its so good too see the Cod back after many years of nothing!
Im not sure how long they will stay around for they are pretty unpredictable after vanishing for 7 years ��
If they stay around for spring this fishing will be back like the old days again,
It’s possible to catch Cod, Rays, Bass, Spurdogs & hounds all on the same mark!!
I can’t wait too see if this happens really looking forward to it!
March is pretty much fully booked but i do have some availability in Early April for Prime spring fishing ��

Busy week Last week we been averaging between 27-37 codling a trip the best trip so far was 41 Codling ��
Mixture of sizes to 4lb! For most fish lug a squid baits are working best but early the peeler crab got some better ones!
I Started off shallow around HW then as the tide drops we follow the fish to deeper water,
Few have been kept for the table no shame in that at all as several are returned id say around 70% been going back for the future!

The Codling are showing in good numbers finally!
we had 23 on the last trip a very good sign!
They aren’t all massive fish but some reasonable size ones to 4lb
Even so its a welcome catch in-between the Rays!
Fishing has finally & really picked up the last few weeks!
Plenty of Thornbacks showing locally on the usual marks & herring bait doing the trick as always
Codling seem to have made a strong appearance the last few weeks squid & lug seems best at the moment.
Moving into spring is looking exciting with Codling, Rays, Hounds, Early bass & maybe the spurdogs too!
Diary is getting very busy so booking in advance is recommended but do keep an eye out for last minute spaces, although at the moment they are getting snapped up pretty quick!

Me & my family Just want to wish everyone a happy healthy new year!!
Thank you to everyone for the support & loyalty over the years im really looking forward to the new season ahead,
My 2023 diary is open & its looking to be another busy one thank you!! A Quick reminder that booking in advance is recommended for your preferred date especially during peak season!
2022 was a fantastic season especially targeting the bass offshore!! We had Lots of laughs lots of PBs & most of all lots of good times!!
My First trip of the 2023 season is tomorrow lets hope its a good start

Quick update
The Bigger bass are plentiful during September/ October on local marks worm, squid or a live whiting bait should tempt 1 or 2 better ones!!
The big numbers of bass all shapes & sizes are further offshore now its great fishing but extra miles are needed for these trips &
worm bait is a must along with the lures too!
The Skate are moving back inshore & on local marks now ,if you like the Rays get your fish baits out!
Hounds are still about all over the places really no big girls but plenty of small to medium ones on the squid baits !
I won’t mention the COD fishing lol
I have loads of offshore Bass trips planned through September & October some availability remaining on a handful of October ones best to Contact me on 07523488290 for availability

Well the decent stamp of bass has increased again several most trips between 2-5lb with the odd better one to 8lb!!
all the fish have been local on the lures & worm baits. Bass is our main target until the season ends midd November its prime time now,
I Will have to start pushing further offshore as temperatures drop but we have plenty of time local yet now the betters ones are showing,
But please remember further offshore trips are longer days & cost a bit more
Unfortunately fuel isn’t free
but most of you know me by now always chasing them Bass especially on the lures!!!
October is when it really kicks off offshore with the numbers & sizes increasing even more worm lives baits, squid but lures normally do really well
Been a great summer weather & fish wise lets hope autumn is the same

Quick one!
Plenty of sizeable bass around especially on the lures the better ones arevcoming up among the schoolies too! The Bigger bass showing in deeper water as always,
Hound fishing is better inshore than offshore at the moment & live hermits from my pots have definitely got the edge on the big hounds!!
Rays are a bit slow but haven’t really targeted them much but numbers are down this season im Sure if you target them you’ll get a few.
Tope are showing offshore had lots of small to medium ones but no monsters this season yet! But there is still plenty of time
you do need the fresh mackerel for these & they have just started to show finally.
I am mainly targeting bass at the moment especially on the lures its great fun !!!
il do hound trips when its too windy to get offshore in the sheltered waters been some big fish close to home too!

Theres Plenty bass about now !!
Most fish between 2-4lb some better ones here & there among them these are Good eating size & good sport they keep everyones rods busy!!
There Better hounds numbers & size wise showing now
First tope have been report locally
& the lures will kick off soon
