Back afloat next week all annual pre season maintenance done & ready for a busy season
Anti fouling ✔️
Prop polishing ✔️
Hull buffing ✔️
Anode change ✔️
Engine oil change ✔️
Fuel and oil filter change ✔️
Raw water impeller change ✔️
Coolant change ✔️
Gear box oil change ✔️
Engine descale ✔️
Cosmetic clean / touch up ✔️
This Has to be done to minimises down time during the season, keeps the vessel in prime condition & in return gives reliability & safety whilst at sea !!

Dawn Tide Charters 2022 Diary is open for bookings !
Please remember Booking in advance is recommended as from March to October is peak season and the diary get very busy,
The Summer months have limited availability already bookings have been flooding in Especially to target my favourite the Bass so please get in touch for remaining availability,
I will be putting on extra evening / night trips for individuals general fishing for hounds, Rays & bass during prime season so please keep an eye out for availability,
Lots of further offshore wrecking trips in the diary this season & plenty booked in this season offshore for Tope!!

Quick report il try not to bore you to much
Theres Still Plenty of bass about in the right places on local marks, its much better well offshore with everyone onboard hitting there 2 bass bag limit no problem but remember its extra miles and thats extra cost so please bare that in mind.
The rays are building in numbers now as usual on the usual marks we had good numbers inshore the other day they kept the rods bending.
The Hounds have thinned right out now the odd one here and there now but they will be back next season.
A Few codling have reported but nothing major no surprise !! Its been years since a proper cod run here but the bass making up for the lack of cod and i will continue to target bass until its not worth while.
So basically theres still plenty of mixed action at the moment!!!

Its good to be back!!
Quick report
Fishing is good Plenty of thornbacks as always This time of year biggest 15lb so far
We have had several double figure hounds already this week 15lb 6oz biggest so far,
The bass showing most trips now had them to 5lb this week Numbers will massively increase in the coming weeks
There is a Nice spurdog run at the moment good to see them in promising numbers had them to just under 18lb hopefully they stay around a bit longer
The main Tope Run will hopefully start mid may but several reported already
Don't forget you will need fresh crab Bait for hounds And fresh Worm baits for the bass.
Diary is very busy thank you to all my new and returning customers i appreciate the support!

Hope everyone is well my diary is open 29th march onwards hope to see you all aboard soon
its been far to long looking forward to getting back on the hunt
will be plenty of skate about to get us started then the bass and hounds will move in during April followed by mackerel and tope during may with the big bass shoals
the bass fishing was unreal last season should be another blinder this year finger crossed

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to every one !!!
After todays news it looks like my 2020 season has come to an end so my remaining 2020 bookings will have to be cancelled unfortunately due new covid 19 restrictions again!
I promise i will be back in action in 2021 as soon as restrictions get lifted.
I Just want to say a big thank you to all of you who come aboard over the last 10 years and supported me especially in these uncertain times thank you.
We had a fantastic 2020 season as always lots of laughs and lots of fish including many PBs lets hope 2021 is just as good or even better.
My 2021 diary is open and its filling nicely hope to see all new and returning customers next season until then stay safe everyone have a great Christmas regardless.

Plenty of thornbacks inshore Very busy at times on the herring baits boated 21 yesterday was Only 10 minutes from the marina,
As usual theres whiting, dogs and dabs ect still the odd bass too.
There are Bass still in good numbers way offshore But need to put in some miles for big numbers, there are codling showing in the usual places along with the Thornbacks Even had some small codling in the river last few trips so it worth getting out when you can.
Now That Air and water Temp has dropped it feels like the winter season has finally started I Will be looking to find some cod/codling through December

Well the Bass fishing has been Amazing this year good sizes And numbers biggest just over 10lb so far this season,
The Tope where about in good numbers This year I managed a few trips for them Once the mackerel arrived most anglers choosing bass fishing over tope fishing but the Tope trips we did saw tope to 41lb
Skate are off in the deeper waters if you want them,
The hounds have been going bonkers in the shallows A good stamp of fish 7-9lb Average giving a good scrap 40-50 Hounds some trips biggest 19lb this season so far,
Got some offshore plaice And turbot trips Soon so i will update then
There has been huge shoals of mackerel And schoolie bass close to home keeping us busy over the slack waters

Hope everyone is well
I will be doing monthly fishing And info reports on my web site so keep an eye out please.
But as you can tell the bass fishing has been fantastic The Last few weeks worm Baits and lures doing the business as you can see from the catch photos Some nice fish about but you do have to filter through the schoolies to get them
The hounds fishing is good all the big females are inshore Pupping and the weed is a bit of a problem when hound fishing inshore but if you can fish through it you will get the fish.
Had a few mackerel the other day but they just aren’t here in numbers yet, been some tope caught locally i will try to target them if anglers want too but they seem busy with the bass There are still plenty of skate off in the deeper water If you want them

Hello everyone hope you are all well
Just a lockdown update the charter industry is still battling with operating restrictions and no finical buisness support,
On a positive note since fishing and watersports are allowed during This semi lockdown period i decided to nip out and Take the boat for a few runs And keeping her Maintained to Certificate standards as always Its no good letting them sit there rotting.
It would have Been rude not to have a few hours fishing along the way And see whats going on out there ready for when we can all get back to normal,
fishings good had plenty good size bass to 6lb, hounds Too 19lb and skate Too 12lb
The weekend just gone was my twins 5th birthday took them on a family lockdown fishing trip was really great little trip Inshore good sport non stop smallish skate and hounds 10 minutes from the marina It kept them busy All day just what we all needed great memories,
please keep and eye out for when lockdown gets lifted and try to book on asap as my diary is all over the place with 3 months Worth of trips being shifted about its all up in the air so please bare with me il do my best to get everyone afloat hopefully not to long now!
