UP-DATE OF ARRIVAL OF VANISHING POINT-2

Hi Guys, just another up-date, as so many of you are phoning with the impending arrival of Vanishing Point-2 to her new berth at Bradwell marina in Essex, a port this new vessel has never seen..!!

Since her launch last year, she went directly to Barrow in Furness, to work out in the Irish sea, but it looks as though her work there is done now, and we are looking to start the homeward passage from the other side of the country around the 7th March, as that’s when the Caledonian canal is opened, so if you want to track her progress around that time, just go to AIS ships live and type in VANISHING POINT-2 and you will be able to watch our progress.

Once the boat is safely back in Bradwell, we will take a couple of weeks just to do some service work and prep her for her new role of Charter Fishing..!!! yay!! By putting all her fishing rod holders on, we like the stainless steel ones that fit on the gunnel’s, so it keeps the deck clear, and bait cutting facilities, and alike.

Then I would say, at the end of March we will be ready to start taking those long awaited bookings for you all, and give you a trip of a lifetime, where you really will be cruising at over 20 knots!!, and if the sea should chop up, you will hardly notice it as with the fine bow entry, she has wave piercing technology built into her structure, she goes straight through a 1 metre wave with virtually no effect from any angle, you won’t truly appreciate it until you have tried it, I know we didn’t.!!!..

Ok guy's, as I say just another up-date for you so you know where we are, and I didn’t think it fair to start taking bookings, only to have to let you down, that’s not how we rock..!

Look forward to seeing you all very soon, and get ready to be impressed..!!!! Tight Lines

Delay for the Home Coming of Vanishing Point-2 to Bradwell Essex

Hi guys, Just a quick up-date on Vanishing Point-2’s arrival in our home port of Bradwell Essex..!!
Due to the huge Atlantic storms we are experiencing at the moment, with no sign of a let up in sight, it now looks as though VP-2 will not now arrive until early to mid-April, sorry about that!! But we have no control over the weather, and Vanishing Point is too big to transport by road, (shame really)..
A huge thank you to all of you who have been inundating us with phone calls, not only too try and book our new boat, but kindly phoning to see how Nicola & I are keeping, which is really kind off you all, which shows to us, you’re not just our customers, but our friends, which is very special to us both.
Ok…! With the Walton’s bit out of the way…lol we hope to start taking your booking from April onwards, but with the delays in getting VP-2 home to Essex because of weather, you can now understand why I was reluctant to take your booking back in January, because I kind of thought the weather would play a major role in getting her back from the Irish sea…
    See you all very soon
    Terry & Nicola…… Tight Lines!!!!!!

Just a quick message to all our anglers, sorry for the delay in getting Vanishing Point-2 (our brand new vessel) home to Bradwell, but after we finished our operations in the Irish sea in November, the winter Atlantic storms were brewing, and the sea state has made it unsafe to make the 700 nautical mile journey home to Essex.
We are looking at the middle of March now to get her home to Bradwell, so thank you all so much for your continued support and constant phoning to try to book you trips on VP-2 it is really appreciated..!! But Nicola & I won’t keep you waiting much longer until the big Cat comes to a home port she has never seen yet..! Very exciting we can’t wait to show her off to you all, and hope you will be as impressed with this ultra-fine vessel as we are….. Until March then……Tight lines

The fishing has been very good just lately and many Thornback Rays are coming to the boat, and some really good Bass are showing up.

Smoothounds are a bit patchy, but this is due to the late rise in water temperature, and tobacco juice..

There have been a few big Tope caught , but again not bundles.

Things should improve after these big tides, and put a scattering of fish on the offshore marks, weather permitting....!!
