Hurricane Amy made the fishing a bit difficult this weekend, but we did manage to get out and we did a bit of fishing in the harbour, which was surprisingly good for the time of year . We had 14 species including plenty of nice Bream , Congers, Bullhuss, Big Wrasse, Pollack and Tub Gurnard. Top 4 on the day

Fishing Report by Matt Rowe

3 matches on the boat this week. On Thursday it was super league, there was a stiff north easterly blowing so had to stay close, in great fishing though. 18 species including the first Couches Bream of the year plus Plaice , loads of Bass,Big Garfish and some nice Triggers. Top 3 on the day
1st Luke Allen 300
2nd Steve Harder 197
3rd Ray Barron 197
Next it was the Friday round of the super league we had slightly better weather and fishing. 20 species including some really nice Plaice, Trigger Fish, Red Bream ,Bass, Rays and another bonus Brill. Top 3 on the day
1st Mike Fox 268
2nd Gary Young 246
3rd Andy Pedon 245.
Then it was the last round of the Piscary evening league, very disappointing turnout this year so I won't be running it next year unless I get at least 7 anglers committed to the league?
Unfortunately although the forecast was good there was quite a easterly breeze which made the fishing a bit restrictive. Only 5 species Dogs, Bream,Bass, Smoothounds and Smalleyed Rays. Top 3 on the night
1st Darren Phillips 90
2nd Jay Hemming 78
3rd Andy Pedon 61
Top 3 in the league best 4 out of 5
1st Andy Pedon 34 free trip.
2nd Gary Rook 33
2nd Darren Phillips 33.
