Another great day out on My Way fishing one of Gethyn’s sponsored summer/autumn species competitions. Don’t be put off by the word “competition” it’s still the same friendly day out you always have with Geth but with the chance to walk away with a new rod and reel and at no extra cost. What’s not to like? Although conditions on the day were a bit challenging at times Geth, as always, worked hard to find us fish with a mixture of drifting and fishing at anchor and we ended up with around a dozen different species on the boat. I would thoroughly recommend My Way to anyone, irrespective of ability. I guarantee you will walk off the boat knowing more than when you got on. The free hire gear on board is of the highest quality and Geth is always on hand to help you get the best out of it. It’s also one of the friendliest boats I’ve fished on and this is down to Geth’s enthusiasm for everyone to have the most enjoyable day out. I first went out with skipper Gethyn Owen on My Way out of Holyhead and enjoyed myself so much that I have been back seven or eight times by now. Always a good day out, Gethyn always provides good entertainment and creates an atmosphere of fun amongst the day's crew, often made up of individuals who have never met before. Whilst no charter skipper can guarantee a big day's fishing, I have yet to be disappointed on My Way and, when either hunting for spurdog, smoothhounds or just general fishing, a good day's fun is sure to be had

I'd like to thank Gethyn Owen ...just spent 7 days aboard My Way it's been the best week of my life (sorry wife) �� would also like to thank all the other lads and lasses you know who you are for the great company, great food which goes without saying on My Way. I can't wait to get back on the boat again..hopefully I will have my new rod for then..I haven't used my rod all week I've been using the new Grey's rod. Thanks again Gethyn see you in 3 weeks but might nip down before that cos I seriously can't wait till then for the next trip .��������������������������

Fantastic Day with Geth and the crew, 1st time out with him, Very friendly, great banter, Good knowledge of the area and very helpful. I won the competition for the day which was a smoothound Challenge, with a 17LB 13 Oz fish and another one of 11LB. Highly enjoyable day, Loads of brews and very decent food, at a very reasonable price. You wont be disapointed with your day out on My Way. Cheers Geth.

well had another great day aboard my way with skipper gethyn owen fishing was great again today with the lads catching cuckoo/ballan wrass , pollock, coalfish, mackerel, whilst drifting then we moved out to the deeps tried drifting but to no avial skipper gethyn thought it was through big predators down there so we anchored up and his suspicions where confirmed withing 20 mins as 1 of the lads caught a tope from then on it was steady as spurdogs and tope was being caught regular then we moved bo inshore in search of smoothound as its early on it was a gamble but it paid of with a few of the lads catching there quarry once agn thanks gethyn for a superb day out agn will see you verry soon m8 paul (brooksy) brooks

I went out on My way skippered by Gethyn for my first ever boat trip and I have to say I was a bit nervous having never fished from a boat or with a multiplier but Gethyn made it so enjoyable he helped out with every little thing with a smile on his face and a funny comment he really made it enjoyable. If we got to a mark that wasn't producing much he moved on right away on the search for a better spot so we could catch more fish his sense of humor was brilliant and he had us all laughing all day the price for the 8 hour trip was so cheap and the extra for all bait included was worth it for all the bait u need is supplied for so little I can't wait to go back out amazing trip and an amazing skipper thanks Geth
