I have used Richard multiple times (5 or 6 events over last two years) for social club fishing events, and every time the feedback has been fantastic (weather helps but is never guaranteed in UK). Richard is great company, and makes the atmosphere relaxed and fun on boat. This makes the whole day enjoyable and people come back asking when the next trip will be planned. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or a complete novice, Richard makes sure everyone is well looked after and has a great time. I thoroughly recommend him to anyone considering a fishing trip—you will not be disappointed! We are already planning our next trips for 2026.

Absolutely brilliant days fishing with Richard ! Very friendly and extremely helpful especially as we have never sea fished before ! Great results fish wise to will deffiantly be back to fish with Richard again for many years to come ! Thank you again Richard !

We hired Richard to scatter my late mother's ashes at sea. He was very accommodating and straight forward. He knew exactly what was expected, was very respectful. He also arrived exactly on time to pick us up so there was no waiting around. Perfect service and a real gentleman. Thank you Richard.

Had a great day out plenty of fish caught and plenty of help from the skipper for the non fishermen onboard (and for me unhooking, I'm used to carp that don't bite back!) . Had smooth hounds, ray, whiting and plenty of doggies on worm. Will def come back for another trip. Skipper also skinned the larger fish for us so ready for cooking Nice to meet you richard, thanks again! Steve

On May 21st we went fishing �� and we caught so many fish. We caught about 30kg of fish!!!. ��������Richard was a very friendly guy, he gave the best advice for fishing and was understanding about our mistakes. We had a very lovey time and we highly recommend!!! Thanks a lot Richard we definitely come back soon �� .��

We had a fantastic time out with Richard and his dad today. We caught some bass and whiting. The whole experience was great. Richard and his father such lovely people. We'd definitely come back and recommend to our keen fishing friends and anyone that would like a brilliant day out.

We recently spent a fantastic day fishing with Richard aboard his excellent boat, Blue Dawn. Richard provided all the tackle we needed including replacements when we lost lines during the day and it was of high quality - as was the bait, also provided. This meant we managed to catch significant Whiting, Smooth hound and Huss throughout the day in more than enough quantity to feed 17 people in the evening for dinner. The boat was very spacious, in excellent condition and we couldn't recommend the day or the skipper highly enough. If you book with Blue Dawn charters you will be well looked after - Richard knows his stuff and is a thoroughly nice bloke into the bargain. Neil, friends and family.

A great day out! Richard the skipper was very friendly yet professional and knowledgeable helping to keep us on the fish all day. All 5 of us had a great day and would not hesitate to recommend Richard and his boat Bluedawn.
