If you want a good day out with plenty of banter and loads of fish then Mr Owen is the man.With the Smoothounds being his speciality you will not be dissapointed,but if youre after some hound fishing the n you better book in advance,spaces are few and far between.So all in all great days out and great fishing,the only problem hes a mad Liverpool supporter,everyone has their bad sides dont they lol

I am fortunate enough to be a regular on My Way and will continue to do so for as along as Gethyn will put up with me. His knowledge of the waters around Holyhead are second to none and I have learnt a great deal from the man. His commitment to making sure first timers and youngsters catch fish is awesome and they naturally gain confidence from the attention they recieve. I can honestly say I have had most of my P.B.'s whilst fishing aboard My Way (including:Spurdog, Smoothies, Huss and Conger) and look forward to smashing them all in the future. The atmosphere is always laid back and the banter is always good, even if the jokes are a little sketchy at times, hahaha!!! 5 star, nuff sed!! Peace!!

Gethyn is an expert skipper and always finds the fish. Great hospitality, excellent advice on fishing.

After several disappointing experiences around the coast, we began to use Gethyn Owen and 'My Way'. His enthusiasm and experience are wonderful, his knowledge of the best places to fish is massive, his cooking is great, but his jokes are rubbish. I recommend the 'My Way' package to anyone who wants a great day out fishing.
