My Way is a total angling experience and a must for those wanting a day with a full range of fishing from Species Hunting around the North Stack, Mixed fishing over the mussel beads, hoping for for something big off 'The Deeps' or the real deal in Smooth Hound fishing, My Way is the only way. Bait and Food supplied, decent tackle for those without. Why you've only got to turn up for a great day. Crew know what they're about and keep you on the fish and importantly helpful as well as entertained. Glad I took the chance to fish 3 day on the trot, brilliant.

Skippers Reponse: Cheers Lloyd, 3 days packed high with fish and as equally impotant fun, crying with laughter at times with some of the stories Billy came out with. hehe, thanks again

Had yet another fantastic day out on my way. This time was for smooth hound, a fish that i hadnt had the pleasure of catching. Gethyn the skipper put us straight on the fish and into the first hounds of the session very quickly. By the end of the day i had four pb hounds with the biggest a superb fish of 19lb. Many other doubles were landed. Gethyn was very helpful throughout the trip, answering any questions and giving top advice to all on board not to mention making lots of brews and providing his usual good banter. Having been on many boats in north wales, my way seems to have the edge and i really look forward to my next trip.

Skippers Reponse: Thanks Dan, it was a good fun trip. There was no stopping you on the hounds - that big one was brilliant and the photo is awesome. Great banter fo sure, good to have a laugh along the way :)

A lovely day afloat started with the customery cup of tea followed by a brief explanation of what was on th agenda for the day, a simple but useful touch that we are not caught unaware of any long steams to marks. The firs stop was a nice few drifts over a local rough area producing various pollack and wrasse aswell as some nice codling. From there we took a trip out to the Holyhead deeps a mark I have longed to try. Fishing in 200ft of water it always the anticipation of what's down there. It wasn't long before the first of the large Huss were boated with myself landing a nice double figured fish. Then I had a run, reel taking line but once pressure was applied the line could not withstand whattever had taken a shine to my bait. Alas the chance Iof a tope slips through again. Around tithe boat Spurdog were being landed and jealousy struck I hadn't caught a spur and was eager. I didn't have to wait long after a bit of bait advice from the skipper I had landed my first Spur. The time at the deeps came to and end and we steamed off to our smoothie spot. Armed with fresh crab provided by the skipper we fished for in shallow water for the much famed smooth hound . In total 6 were landed however I couldn't manage to connect with the tentative biting nature if the species. As always the banter was enjoyable the kettle was never off and the sausage sarnies went down a treat. Very very enjoyable day

Skippers Reponse: Cheers for that John, it was another fine day with some good fish and a fair few laughs :) That big tope will come .. when you least expect it. See you soon, Gethyn

Having been on my 1st ever boat trip just 2 weeks earlier ( again aboard My Way ) I was eager to get afloat again and this time I had even higher expectations due to an excellent first trip, My Way and skipper Gethyn didn't disappoint. We fished various marks either on the drift or at anchor and everyone aboard were into the fish. A few hours into the trip we went specifically after smooth hounds which had eluded me on the first trip and today they were playing ball with everyone catching at least 2 double figure hounds. The friendly banter was non stop all day and along with the constant brews and good hot snack of bacon, sausage, egg, beans and thick bread ensured im hooked on boat fishing and will be booking again soon.

Skippers Reponse: Thanks Ari, a good amount of hounds inbetween a mixed bag of general species, Yeah, great banter all day as well. Cannot believe I allowed 2 Evertonians on at the same time :) thanks Gethyn
