First time ive been out with Bob, we all had a really good day.The sun was shining and the water was flat calm for a change.Bob is a very experienced skipper and very friendly and was always there to help out and offer advice in general a really nice fella that found us fish helped us out and makes a great cup of tea.Thanks for a great day Bob see you soon.

Another trip with Bob. Booked on his individuals trip Thursday and with the weather looking bad Bob offered us the Wednesday knowing I was only in Kent for three days. Bob told us there were Thornbacks, Bass and Smooth hounds and we caught all three. That and Dog fish. Dog fish, dog fish and more dog fish. The three in my party all had a good day. Thursday would have been a blow out so all credit to Bob for the flexibility and for going out with only three aboard. I will be back.

My trip Thursday 15th April was lost to the weather and Bob knowing I was in Kent for the week managed to rebook me for sat the19th. Bob gave clear directions and advice on tackle, bait and where to get it, parking and a cafe for breakfast. The day could not have been better with spring sunshine and flat calm sea. We tried three locations thoughout the day looking for our target rays, cod or early bass but found little other than dog fish, dog fish and more dog fish with the odd whitting. We may not have found the fish we were looking for but I had a great day and will fish with Bob again next time I'm in that part of the world.

Myself and 4 others had a fantastic day out on the Duke IV on the 28/12/2009, I would like to take this opportunity to thank skipper Bob and deck hand Jack a.k.a Harry potter. I found skipper Bob to have a vast knowledge of the waters that we were fishing. He always landed us on the right spots to catch and was not adverse to move if waters went dead, my dad said he needs practise on his tea making skills though. Harry Potter was an excellent decK hand he was always there to help land the fish, bait your hook and show you what to do if needed. I've been on lots of boat trips and I enjoy the sport of fishing and the team on the Duke IV only make the experience better. This is the second time on the Duke IV and I can’t wait to book more trips for the New Year. Many thanks again, Ben.
