If you are looking for a day out fishing on the deep water wrecks you wont be disappointed if you choose Ocean Warrior.Dave first choice of wreck after steaming out for 1 1/2 hrs was spot on and all on board were into to some big hard fighting Pollack straight away.We had plenty of doubles on the boat .I was lucky enough to catch 11 with the biggest going to 15lb 12oz ,my best day ever on the wrecks .Thanks for a great day .

    Skippers Reponse: Hi Neil,
Thanks very much for the review - it was a pleasure to take you all out and glad everyone enjoyed the day. Look forward to seeing you all on the boat again soon.
    Kind regards
    Dave

Well.the weather was looking a bit iffy...but true to form on a dropping wind, Dave and Steve wanted to go for it. After waiting for a weather window for weeks, we were all chomping at the bit to have a crack at the large cod usually about this time of year. We travelled a long way. The cod appeared to be there but not feeding ravenously, nipping a couple off here and there(including a nice 21lb 6ozer) we tried other local wrecks and again nipped a few fish off. The day to be fair was a bit lumpy and the lures were probably having a bit of a jagged journey down there. We then travelled a bit further inshore to some deep wrecks for some pollack, Several small ones and then the larger ones (upwards of 12lbs plus) put in an appearance. Not in vast numbers, but on 6lb class gear they go like a steam train. A very enjoyable day was had by all , a few seasickness casualties but a cracking day out. I fished well and had quite a good day amongst great anglers and a great skipper and crew. treat yourself to a great day out...you wont be disappointed. Nick Coster

Spent a day out from Newhaven with Dave and his crew, My goal was to try to get a 50lb eel- something that has eluded me in 40 years of fishing. The skipper managed to get us right into the wreck despite wind over tide and the fish came almost immediately. I was rewarded with a 60+ eel, I cannot recommend this boat enough, the crew Steve really knows his stuff and I am sure without him telling me when to strike I would have missed this fish. 2 other good eels were also caught plus a nice lot of cod. Weather was awful but day was a cracker. Many thanks. I will be back.

Skippers Reponse: Hi Ray, thanks for the review. I hope for calmer weather and get you an even bigger eel next time! It was a pleasure to take you fishing. Did you get the picture? Cheers, Dave.

Our club - the Really Wrecked SAC - enjoyed a great days wrecking. Not only did we have over 40 Pollack but we also had 70 Bass to 8lb 12oz. It was good to see Dave encouraging the lads to return the smaller Bass to get back to their spawning duties.

My club - the Really Wrecked SAC - had yet another great days sport with Dave. We caught plenty of Bass and Pollack and Dave encouraged us to return the smaller Bass to go about their spawning duties.

Another outstanding wrecking trip and catch - as I have come to expect from this excellent boat , skipper and crew over many years.
