I had the pleasure of competing in a species hunt on the Discovery it was an amazing day of fishing, with the winner catching ten different species. Gary and Ian as always can not do enough for everyone on his boat and even though the weather turned bad in the afternoon the conversation remained about who had caught the largest smooth hound, bull Huss etc. This I believe speaks volumes of how well Gary Flint organises each trip out on his boat. Had a great day out with Gary and Ian onboard Discovery. Tried fishing for different species and caught maybe 9 different species. All tackle and bait provided and tuition for novices from Gary and Ian. Plenty of tea and coffee provided through the day. Next trip already booked. 5* service

Wirral Game Fishing Club (Sea-Fishing Section) Had our first day with Gary (and Dennis!!) on Tuesdau 5th January 2016. A superb experience! We knew we would have difficult fishing conditions because of the amount of fresh water in the river. This didn't stop Gary from giving us a great day! A super boat, super tackle and bait and a fishing day out that would be hards to beat anywhere!. We hope to come out with Gary again very soon. Thanks again!

Had a trip booked on Discovery 20/09 Tony had charted the boat and invited us along! It was a fantastic day out Gary and Ian really looked after us plenty of double figure Huss and Rays plenty of fresh macky for tea we we managed aroun 8/9 species on the trip! We were well fed and watered on the trip! Very impressive boat, Hope to get out with you again soon! Jay Morrow

There is an old saying, you don't know what you have got until it's gone. This was never more true than because of health reasons, I have been unable to go on Gary Flint's discovery charter boat for the last 6 or 7 months. Gary has phoned me a few times over this period not looking for business but to ask me how I am. Which I really appreciated. I was more than happy to be able to actually have a day out on the discovery on the 3/9/2015 and I was very pleased to see nothing had changed, the trip was first class as always. To say I am glad to be back on board is an understatement. Gary, Lynne, Ian many thanks, Chris

My 9yr old son and I fished on the "lads&dads" trip. What a fantastic day!! Gary and his crewman Ian looked after our every need and made my son feel at home on his first trip afloat, catching 8 different species. The discovery lads go that extra yard, teaching the kids about the fish, the bait and why they fished in certain areas. The boat is excellent, its modern and roomy with all the top electronics. Gary also spoiled us with breakfast sauage butties and lunchtime pies, with brews flowing all day. Ian doesnt stop helping people out , rig making, bait prep. They are a good team who want the best for fisherman.

The PQ corp lads had an excellent day out with Gary and Dan. A very knowledgeable skipper and hard working crew who looked after a boatload of novices without hiccup. We all caught some fish and enjoyed the day. Thanks for looking after us and we are looking forward to booking again in the winter after some cod. Rgds Adrian

Excellent day with Garry and Danny - Both were very helpful to me as fishing is a learning curve for me and they helped me to catch my first ever thornback ray, my biggest fish yet! Garry was very amenable and helpful when I told him at the last minute that I my two friends couldn't come with me! Many Thanks Mr Garry and Dr Dan!

This was the first charter trip for us, you couldn't ask for more ,boat is first class, Gary and Danny made the day , learnt a lot on how to bait up properly, what ever help you needed was there, already booked another trip, only problem is you need to book early very popular ,Thanks for a brilliant day see you Nov , cheers Tim ps those special hooks nearly beat Danny
