Today's fishing report
Headed out early, got some fresh mackerel and sand eels for bait a few miles off.
Then headed to our tope mark.
2 tope lost and 1 landed by Danny.
First tope of the year landed.
Came inshore in the afternoon due to wind and tide and Danny into a lovely bass.
Had a couple of smooth-hounds landed and another cracking bass.
Well done everyone
Was a bit lumpy offshore but we all survived.
Thanks everyone for coming.

What a warm one!
Hot hot but lucky we had a good sea breeze to keep us cooler.
Strong tides which made it a bit harder but we did have a few smoothhounds and Harry had two cracking bites inc one that spun the rod holder around!
And he was bitten off clearly!
We thinking a big tope as recently small tope have been getting caught inshore.
So I put out a tope rig with a large bait but nothing caught on that.
Thanks for everyone who came and rebooked for tope and bass trips.

Monday’s trip was all about great company, lively fishing, and making memories, with a special shoutout to Nathan, who celebrated his birthday on board with us!
With the forecast in mind, we headed to one of our tried-and-tested sheltered marks, where conditions were just right to get rods bending. For those new to boat fishing, a bit of guidance went a long way - and it wasn’t long before everyone was into fish.
Eight different species were caught, including thornback ray, tope, and a conger eel, adding plenty of excitement to the day. Great atmosphere, plenty of laughs, and a brilliant mix of anglers made it one to remember.
We even had a glowing review come in after the trip - and that’s the kind of feedback we love to hear.
