Report on-board Incentive
The poor forecast stopped us getting out over the weekend but we were back out today. Any amount of mackerel, dabs whiting doggies a few codling and huss. Bottom fishing slightly on the slow side compared to what it has been so we finished off trying for pollack under the cliffs. Managed to get a fair few pollock all though only small and a nice bar of silver to finish the day.

Bass every trip along with plenty of cod to 8lb, pollock to 9lb along with massive wrasse. We are up to 15 species this year alone and all caught with half an hour of sailing.
Always plenty of live eel on board and good advice from a skipper who loves his fishing.
Pictured is our best bass so far 8lb 9oz with Darren Clayton but we are up to 150 bass landed since May all on light tackle.
The Outrider must be be the nearest you can get to guaranteed bass. -

North Yorkshire Coastline sea swim.
View Boats Page
Skylark was used as a passenger and safety vessel by the Kingfishers sea swimming club.
the first leg started from Staithes and the swimmers swam for 1/2 hour intervals as part of a relay.
in the first day the swimmers managed to cover 17.2 miles in 8 1/2 hours.
unfortunately due to weather and sea conditions they couldn't continue the swim the second day and continued the swim 2 weeks later.
the swimmers worked hard even with jelly fish brushing over them.
in total they swam the North Yorkshire Boundary, Staithes to Speeton in 17hrs 18mins 19secs -

Report on-board Rachel K
The Rachel K was pleased to have a brilliant day out with a group of Scouts and their leaders,20 in all.The lads had good catches of Mackerel with the odd Whiting. This is this groups return visit, they had a cracking trip last year in July. This is the second trip we have had with a group of Scouts this year. The other group in July had one lad saying" this was the best day out I've ever had". Rachel K is the only boat sailing out of Bridlington that is licensed to take up to 20 anglers, so why not get a group together and have a great day out.we look forward to hearing from you.
